Sakurai couldn't help but smiled at Rei's overall enthusiasm. "Now? You have to be prepared, trained. Fortunately for you, Leumya has agreed to see to your training personally."
"Really?" she gasped. A chance to train with an experienced Kaiju woman like her was an absolute dream.
The smaller man nodded. "Yes, really. One of the reasons Leumya was brought in in the first place was to train any new recruits we brought in. You're our first and only success which means any free time she has is now devoted to you."
Rei's mind was spinning. She had to pinch herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. "Ow!"
Sakurai chuckled. "I can assure you this isn't a dream, Rei. This is stone cold reality, and this is actually happening. By the time Leumya and the B.L.A.C.K facility are done with you, you'll have all the tools necessary to save the world and build a brighter tomorrow."
Rei gave her father a determined salute. "Yes sir! I won't let you down, I promise!"
"I know you won't, Rei." Sakurai spoke earnestly. He had put all his eggs in one basket as it were. "We are going to do magnificent work together."

In another part of the B.L.A.C.K facility base, Tanaka typed away at his computer, reviewing all the battle data his robots managed to record.
While he believed in the project Sakurai had created, he still thought that machines were a much better option than living, breathing humans.
Humans were volatile and unpredictable. Tanaka disliked unpredictable unless it was in his own favor. At least machines could be controlled and given directives.
"Better safe than sorry." he mumbled to himself before reaching into his blazer for his cell. He typed in a number and held it to his ear as it rung.
"Hello..." the voice on the other end called.
"Hello, it's Tanaka." he answered.
"G-General..." the timid voice on the other end answered. "What can I do for you?"
"I have some data that I'm sending your way now. I want you to go over it and make sure it makes its way into my personal project."
"Y-Yes sir. Anything else?"
Tanaka hummed. "Make to engaged extra cyber security." he then turned his gaze towards the camera to his computer that he had duct taped. "Never know who might be trying to listen in."

In another facility a blonde-haired woman with glasses stared at her own computer monitor with a frown marring her beautiful features.
It was dark. Somone had covered their camera.
"Damn."
