Haruka sighed in relief as she stretched her muscles. That photo shoot took way longer than expected, but hey, anything for her adoring public. Besides she got to try a few new poses she'd been working on and got to put that cool lady in her mouth.
Once all that was finished she gave her loyal fans a goodbye wink before heading off to one her favorite places... Silk. It was a clothing store that specialized in specific designs and used only the finest materials from all over the world. It was also the only spot in Japan that could make her some actual clothes.
She tried to special order clothing from other places before, but they either couldn't do it, were too cheap with the material, or were simply far too expensive. Those were the dark ages were she was forced to constantly were nothing but her bathing suits.
Just when she was about to resign herself to her fate to wear nothing but swimwear, her friend Yumi told her about this fancy store in town called Silk that made all of her daddy's clothes. She remembered Mr. Kubo's fancy multicolored suits and thought to give the place a shot. After all it wasn't like she had anything to lose.
When she first arrived to place an order and told them her measurements they weren't even shocked. They just asked what she wanted it made out of and told her when they'd be finished. She was quite honestly the only one that was shell-shocked.
One problem that did arise though were the prices. She might've been a celebrity but she wasn't made of money. Her pockets weren't as fat as her friend Yumi's. But she was in luck. Silk knew who she was and cut her a deal. If she became their spokesperson then she'd get clothes for half off. She couldn't say yes fast enough.
She'd been a loyal customer and spokesperson ever since. She drew up business like nobodies business. Which led her to right now. Seated in front of Silk while Ms. Sato and her seamstresses brought out her order.
