"The name’s Roxy," she said, extending a hand decorated with chipped black nail polish, though she didn't wait for him to shake it before sliding her palm right back to his chest. "And you are?"

"Jerry," he muttered, his brain still scrambling to catch up to the sheer audacity of this girl.

"Alright, Jerry. Start talking. What exactly is that little gadget in your pocket capable of?" Roxy’s eyes practically gleamed under the flashing strobe lights, her skepticism fighting with a desperate need to believe what she’d just witnessed.

Jerry looked around one more time, ensuring the bartender was preoccupied with throwing bottles around. He pulled the remote out just far enough for her to see the sleek, multi-dialed interface before slipping it back into his jacket.

"It's a reality remixer," Jerry whispered, leaning in so close his lips almost brushed her ear. "It doesn't just do gender swaps. It does body swaps, age regression, physical transformations, mind wipes—whatever you want. It rewrites the target's history in real-time so the rest of the world thinks they’ve always been that way."

Roxy pulled back, her sharp features tightening into a scoff. "Oh, come on. A reality remixer? What, did you buy it off the dark web from an alien? You probably just laced Mike's drink with some hallucinogen and I had a contact lens mishap." She crossed her arms, a smirk of pure disbelief returning to her face. "You expect me to believe you have a god-key to the human body in your pocket? Prove it."

Jerry’s ego flared. He was tired of being doubted, tired of being the invisible car salesman. "You want proof? Fine. Pick someone."
