“With that out of the way,” said Mr. Kintobotnik, “we're going in a tear duct!”

He flies the SCAS into a tear duct in Anna's eye. A deeper tunnel is seen ahead of us.

“This is the inside of the tear duct, everybody!” he continued. “Here, tears get washed from the eye into the duct.”

Some tears come through the tunnels we entered, getting flushed into the tear duct. Anna must've blinked.

“Eventually, ‘ Mr. Kintobotnik continued, “they get sent down the nasal bone and into the nostril.”

The tears flow down the duct.

“So, my tears get drained to my nose when I blink?” asked Anna.

“Pretty much!” Mr. Kintobotnik answered. More tears wash down the duct.
