We decided to follow the scent to see where it goes. We ended up at the roof of the cave that is the inside of Jessie's nose. The roof is lined with nerves that absorb the scent.

“As you can see, class,” taught Mr. Kintobotnik, “those are Jessie's olfactory receptors. They're the nerves that are responsible for the sense of smell.”

The olfactory receptors absorb the scent of too much rose perfume. Fascinated by this, the students took pictures of the nerves. While they did that, the rose perfume goes through the SCAS's air vents.
