As we think of what to do next, Olivia inhales through her nose, sucking us in. We end up getting caught in her mucus. In it are the things that were caught in her nose hairs.
To keep us from panicking, Mr. Kintobotnik teaches, “As you can see, class, mucus also captures intruders, but it's stickier than the nasal hairs.”
“We may be trapped, but at least we got to learn something!” said Serena.
“See?” Mr. Kintobotnik responded. “At least someone is thinking positive about the situation we're in!”
The other students try to think positive like Serena did.
As that goes on...
