"Starbreaker," Lisa said, scrolling through their streaming queue. "Heard it's supposed to be the next big thing. Kind of a Captain Marvel vibe but darker. Female lead, cosmic powers, whole 'woman discovers she's basically a living star' thing."

Mark raised an eyebrow. "You just want to see if the suit's as tight in person as it looks in the trailer."

She elbowed him. "Shut up. You're the one who keeps pausing whenever the villainess shows up in leather."

The movie started. Pulsing synth score, opening shot of a dying star collapsing in on itself. Then the title card: STARBREAKER.

The protagonist appeared on screen maybe ten minutes in—Nova Reyes, callsign Starbreaker. Mid-30s, Latina, athletic without being cartoonishly ripped. Long dark hair floating in zero-G, eyes glowing faintly gold when her powers flared. The iconic suit was midnight blue threaded with pulsing stellar veins that lit up whenever she absorbed energy. It hugged every curve like liquid latex, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. Even Mark had to admit the costume department had done unholy work.

Lisa paused the movie right as Nova hovered above a shattered alien cityscape, cape of plasma billowing, fists clenched, radiating barely-contained supernova rage.

"Her," Lisa said softly. "I want to know what that's like."

Mark's throat went dry. "You sure? The rules say consenting adult characters only. She's... definitely adult."

Lisa's gaze flicked to him, mischievous and a touch nervous. "Your turn after. Pick whoever. No take-backs."

He swallowed. "Deal."

She picked up the TVT Remote. The plastic felt warmer now, almost humming against her palm. She aimed it carefully at the frozen image of Nova Reyes—face filling half the screen, lips parted in mid-battle cry.

Mark's heart hammered. "Wait—what if—"

Lisa pressed the big red button.
