At hour twenty, he found Maya’s journal.
It was under her mattress—a red Moleskine filled with cramped handwriting. Trevor, naked, plug still in his ass, wand discarded and buzzing dead on the floor, opened it with trembling fingers.
“January 3rd,” he read, Maya’s voice soft in the empty apartment. “Swapped with Marcus today. Being male is weird. I jerked off four times. Couldn’t stop. The orgasms are fast but shallow, like sneezing. I prefer ours. I prefer being the vessel.”
Trevor laughed—a cracked, manic sound. Maya was a serial swapper. She knew. She understood the hunger.
He kept reading. Entries detailing swaps with men, women, experiments with drugs and sex and deprivation. Maya had been plumbing the depths of her own body for years, using Swapp to borrow eyes to watch herself, hands to touch herself from outside perspectives.
And then—he found the photos.
Tucked in the back pages, printed on glossy paper. Maya—this body—tied up, suspended, covered in… things. Fluids. Marks. She’d been someone’s submissive. Someone’s doll. The dates showed these were from last year.
Trevor looked at the photos. Looked at his—her—body in the mirror, still flushed, nipples raw, pussy swollen and puffy from abuse.
He had two hours left.
He could clean up. Shower. Put on conservative clothes and wait for the swap back in a state of post-coital zen, returning Maya’s body with a note saying “thanks for the ride.”
Or…
He looked at the photos again. At the handprints on Maya’s ass, the rope marks on her wrists. The blissed-out expression that said she’d been somewhere else entirely.
He opened the Swapp app. There was a feature he’d noticed earlier: “Extension Requests.” If both parties agreed, a swap could be lengthened. Maximum additional time: 48 hours.
Trevor’s finger hovered over the button.
