The elderly woman with the cane shuffled out of the bathroom, her eyes still wide with a mix of shock and pity. Jay stood frozen in front of the mirror, the horrifying reality of his situation sinking in like a stone. He wasn't just in a woman’s body; he was in a woman’s body wearing a ridiculously small, turquoise bikini, in a men's rest stop bathroom, with a semi-truck full of product waiting for him.

A wave of nausea hit him so hard he had to grab the counter again. This was a nightmare. This wasn't some funny story to tell his buddies over a beer; this was real, and it was humiliating. He looked down at his new form, a disgusted frown twisting his new, heart-shaped face. His legs, toned and long, looked alien. The slender waist was a joke, a betrayal of all the hard work he'd put into his beer gut. And the monumental twin globes of his chest were just a constant, impossible, jiggling reminder of his new, unwelcome reality. He wasn’t a guy anymore. He was a spectacle.

He had to get out of here. He had to get home. He didn’t care what he looked like, what anyone thought. His truck was his sanctuary, his only connection to his old life. He just needed to make it back to the cab.

The click-clack of the Lucite heels on the grimy tile floor was a maddening, attention-grabbing noise. Every step was a fresh indignity. His hips swayed in a way that felt completely unnatural, a motion he couldn’t stop. He was a puppet on strings, his new body moving of its own accord. The cold air in the parking lot bit at his exposed skin. He felt a dozen pairs of eyes on him the moment he stepped outside.

He kept his gaze fixed on his truck, a giant, hulking beacon of normalcy. But the path to it was a gauntlet of leering truckers, all of whom had just gotten their own grotesque, full-color view of him in his new state. A group of them were gathered near the fueling pumps, their greasy faces grinning. One whistled, long and low, and his friend hooted with laughter.

“Looks like someone’s got a new lady friend!” one of them yelled, his voice a gravelly roar.

“I bet she’s in a hurry to get some!” another one added, his eyes tracing the line of his new body.

Jay felt a hot flush of shame creep up his neck. He wanted to scream, to tell them he was Jay, a man, a guy just trying to get home. But his throat was tight with emotion, and he knew they wouldn't believe him anyway. They would just see a hot blonde in a bikini. So he just kept walking, his head down, the click-clack of his heels a drumbeat of pure mortification. He pulled the doors of his truck open, a small victory, and scrambled inside, fumbling to slam it shut and lock it.

He sat there for a moment, panting, his new chest heaving with exertion and shame. The leather seat felt cold against his bare skin. The interior of the cab, once a place of comfort and solitude, now felt like a cage. He grabbed the steering wheel, his small, delicate hands feeling alien against the worn plastic. His arms were no longer thick with muscle; they were slender, almost fragile. The feeling of the steering wheel was foreign, too, and for a moment he felt a flicker of panic. Could he even drive this thing?

He reached for the seatbelt, and the panic became a full-blown crisis. The belt, designed for a man's broad chest, was now a constricting band right across the top of his new, sensitive breasts. He felt a sharp jolt of discomfort, a strange, electric feeling that was almost painful. He tried to adjust it, but there was no good way. It either cinched too tightly or left him feeling completely exposed. He gritted his teeth and shoved it into the buckle, determined to ignore the feeling.

He started the engine, the familiar roar of the diesel a small comfort. He pulled out of the rest stop and merged onto the highway, the rhythmic bounce of the truck a new kind of torture. Every bump in the road was a jolt to his new breasts, causing them to jiggle and sway in a way that made his stomach churn. The weight of them was something he couldn't ignore, a constant, heavy presence that was both alien and deeply unsettling. The bikini top, too, was a problem. The straps dug into his shoulders, and the fabric felt like a second skin, clinging to every curve. The bikini bottom was just as bad, constantly riding up and bunching in places it shouldn't.

He hated this. He hated every single second of it. He had always been a simple man, a man who liked simple things. Now, he was anything but simple. He was a complicated, beautiful, and utterly miserable spectacle. He thought about the rest stop again, about the chance he'd had to get something, anything, to cover up. A shirt, a pair of pants, a jacket, anything to hide his new reality. But his panic had been too great. He’d just wanted to get away, and now he was paying the price.

Every car that passed seemed to slow down, the drivers craning their necks for a better look. He felt their eyes on him, a thousand little pinpricks of lechery. He knew they were looking at his bare arms, at the skin-tight bikini top, at the cleavage that was so prominent it was probably visible from space. He felt a furious, impotent rage bubbling up inside him. This was not his body. These were not his curves. This was a prison, and he was the unwilling inmate.

He just needed to make it home. He just needed to drive for another day, to get back to his own space, his own life. The road, once his mistress, was now a constant reminder of his humiliation. He gripped the steering wheel, his knuckles white, and drove on, the rhythmic jiggle of his new breasts a constant, maddening beat.
