Deshawn came to with a jolt, blinking in a sudden haze of freckles, red curls, and unfamiliar softness. His mouth tasted like cherry lip balm. His tongue felt wrong in his mouth—too dainty. His eyelashes fluttered.
“Whoa,” he said in a soft, slightly breathy soprano. “This is…”
His words trailed off as he caught his reflection. Erin. Pale skin. Green eyes framed by thick lashes. A heart-shaped face with a splash of freckles across the nose. Shoulder-length, wavy red hair tumbled down in messy ringlets. She was… adorable.
And her boobs. He never thought they were huge before, but they felt huge now. Round, perky C-cups pressed up under a sports bra that barely contained them. His new arms looked toned but slim. Legs—longer than he expected. Smooth, exposed. And that ass? Bouncy. Very bouncy.
He felt like a pin-up cartoon someone had brought to life. And the brain fog… it was real. Emotions bubbled up for no reason. He suddenly felt like dancing. What?
The door slid open.
“There he is!” Tanesha beamed, grabbing his hand and hauling him out into the hallway without ceremony. “You look great. Don’t freak out.”
“I’m freaking out.”
“Don’t say that in front of Tawny,” she said, already shoving a croissant into his hand. “She’ll take it personally.”
Deshawn stumbled after her, trying to eat and walk in heels. The hallway seemed a mile long.
“I’ve never had boobs before,” he mumbled, chewing fast. “Do they always do this?”
“Bounce? Yup. Welcome to the squad.”
They entered the bridal suite and immediately got blasted with perfume, laughter, and overlapping voices.
“Ohhh Erin!” squealed Tawny from the couch. “You’re on fire today. Is that a new push-up?”
“No!” Deshawn squeaked, flushing.
“You’re glowing,” said Kaori, her serene presence somehow grounding. “You feel different.”
He desperately wanted to say something cool. Instead, Deshawn nervously sipped from a mimosa handed to him by Mira, who sized him up with a slow smile.
“Never seen you so quiet, Red,” she teased. “Trouble sleeping?”
“I... yeah. Something like that.”
Gabby, the unmistakable alpha presence of the room, strode in last wearing a tight workout crop top that accentuated her D-cup breasts and holding her clipboard like a queen holding court.
“Alright, ladies,” she barked. “Fittings, nails, shoes, hair. You know the drill. Erin, you’re with me on flowers.”
“Yay!” Tawny chirped. “I want the big pink ones.”
“We’re not doing peonies,” Gabby said firmly.
Deshawn stood awkwardly by the door, heart racing as the chaos swirled around him. Kaori handed him a swatch of fabric. Mira asked for backup lashes. Tawny adjusted his bra without asking.
He felt dizzy. Surrounded. Subsumed by estrogen, perfume, and fabric.
But then Erin’s reflection smiled at him from the mirror—curious, flushed, glowing.
And something in him whispered: This might be fun after all.
