Greg felt the change ripple through his body and ran for the nearest mirror. The mirror reflected a sharp-featured woman with porcelain-pale skin and a black bob cut that framed her face in crisp, symmetrical lines. His new face was all angles—high cheekbones, a pointed chin, intense, icy eyes beneath severe, arched brows. His expression was one of permanent disapproval--or perhaps that was Greg's own distaste seeping into his new face.
His flannel shirt now hung loosely from narrow shoulders. The collar, stretched open from his transformation, showed off a modest but firm bust—nothing excessive, but just enough to invite sinful gazes. His neck was slim, elegant, almost swanlike. His arms were delicate, almost fragile. His jeans drooped from his narrow hips and bunched at his feet, which were now small and delicately arched. His posture had changed too, subtly more poised.
Greg took a step forward, then paused as his smaller, lighter frame responded differently. He felt hollowed out and twitchy, like a wineglass set ringing. He turned left, then right, examining the sharp jawline, the slick black hair cut with such precision.
“Oh, no. No, no, no,” he muttered. “I look like one of those feminist professors.”
The woman in the mirror narrowed her eyes at him.
