Byron muted the stream and leaned back in Luna’s chair, still catching his breath from the sudden spike in donations. He tapped at her phone again, Luna’s message still glowing:

Luna: You should get off stream if you’re gonna start touching stuff.

Byron: Noted. Also… what did you mean earlier? About “you’ll get it eventually”?

She responded almost immediately.

Luna: About the body. And about the swaps. You’re a first-timer, right?

Byron: First time being anyone other than myself, yeah.

Luna: I forget how weird that must feel at first. I’ve been a hundred people. Maybe more. You start losing count.

Byron sat up straighter, still in Luna’s crop top and thigh-high socks, heart racing.

Byron: Wait—what?

Luna: Swapp doesn’t track all your off-platform swaps if you go private network. I started small: girl in my class, couple crushes, that whole “walk a mile in their shoes” phase. But then I got bolder. One week I was a fifty-year-old Japanese investment banker. Next week? A six-foot Brazilian volleyball player on tour. I’ve had every body type you can imagine.

Luna: Even been a guy. Plenty of times.

Byron stared. His palms were sweating. Her palms. He typed slower now.

Byron: What’s it like? Swapping that much?

Luna: At first, it’s chaos. Like trying on Halloween costumes with full sensory feedback. You trip over your own hips. You say the wrong thing in someone else’s voice. But then you start learning. About people. About yourself.

Luna: I used to think I was shy. Turns out I just hated my original body.

Luna: Now I custom-cycle depending on the week.

Byron looked down at the body he was in—her smooth thighs resting across each other, the slight bounce of her breasts every time he moved, the rich scent of her shampoo still in her hair.

Byron: So this body… it’s not your original?

Luna: Oh god, no. My original body was short, bony, and had cystic acne. This one’s licensed. Designer-grown. I saved for three years and financed it through a Swaptyx sub-brand.

She sent a pic—her original self. Byron blinked. It was hard to even see the resemblance.

Luna: Being stuck as one person your whole life is a choice now.

He let that sit for a second.

Byron: Do you ever… get lost? In it?

Luna: Sometimes. But I have anchors. Rituals. Reminders. I meditate every day. I keep old photos in a password-locked drive. And sometimes I just swap back into my old body for a day. To remind myself I earned this.

Byron swallowed. Something deep inside him shifted. Not in his borrowed gut, but in the way he was thinking about life. About change. About control.

Luna: But seriously, you should get off stream if you’re gonna start touching stuff.

Byron blinked at the words. His fingers had been absently running along Luna’s stomach, just below the crop top line, tracing those firm abs and smooth, unblemished skin. He hadn’t even realized it was turning into something more.

Byron stared. The cursor blinked. Then:

Luna: Look, I’m not judging. Trust me. Everyone touches. It’s your first time. But Twitch is not where you want to start that journey.

Byron licked his lips. Her lips. He adjusted his seat, feeling the warmth building between Luna’s thighs. The smoothness. The soft tension. Even the way the air moved across her skin—it all felt like an invitation.

Luna: Log off, dim the lights, and actually get to know the body you’re in. You won’t regret it.

Byron hovered his finger over the “End Stream” button.

The chat was still exploding:

“Where’d she go?”
“Best stream of the year, hands down”
“Come backkkk 😭😭😭”

He ended it.

The quiet was instant. The ring light buzzed softly. Byron stared at the camera, then pulled the crop top off in one slow motion. He caught sight of himself in the mirror across the room.

Naked, perfect, lit by pink LEDs.

“Jesus,” he whispered. He stood, taking in every inch of Luna’s borrowed body. Perky C-cup breasts, pale with dusky pink nipples. Sculpted waist, tight hips, firm thighs, long legs that went on forever. His fingers roamed up her stomach again, slower this time.

Then lower.

The sensation was sharp. Electric. His knees buckled slightly.

He grabbed the back of the chair for support and let out a shaky breath. “Okay. Yeah. This... this is gonna be a night.”

He grabbed Luna’s phone again.

Byron: Is this weird?
Luna: Not unless you call me Daddy while you do it.
Byron: You’re a menace.
Luna: I’m a coach. You’re the rookie. Now close the door, lose the lights, and start slow.

Byron slid the phone aside, the glow of the screen fading as he reached for the bedside lamp.
