The door burst open.
Two security officers swept into the penthouse like they were storming a drug den—black body armor, mirrored visors, armed to the teeth with non-lethal restraint gear. They barely had time to blink before Damien hit them with the full force of Mira’s Body Language™.
He gasped.
He posed.
“Omigod,” he whined, tugging down the deep V of his microdress and teetering toward them in five-inch stilettos. “You have to help me. There’s—oh nooo—I’m so dizzy...”
And then he collapsed into the taller guard’s chest. All soft tits, breathy sighs, and perfume.
The man grunted, instinctively catching him. “Uh—miss?”
Damien peeked up through Mira’s fake lashes and fluttered them. “Are you here to rescue me?”
The other guard hesitated. “Is she—wait, is this the one Arjun mentioned?”
Damien moaned dramatically and pawed at the tall one’s neck. “He locked me in here! Said I was bad! He said—he said if I told anyone, he’d delete my consciousness!!”
Both guards stiffened.
“That’s... not protocol,” one muttered.
Behind them, Nyx was practically invisible—flat against the far wall, obscured by shadows, waiting for the last bit of data to download. She raised one hand and gave Damien a little thumbs-up.
Okay. Just had to keep it up for another sixty seconds.
Damien took a shaky breath, then leaned into the guard’s chest, pulling the front of his dress just a little lower. “Please don’t take me back to him,” he whispered, slipping a finger along the guard’s tactical vest strap. “I’ll do anything.”
The guard cleared his throat. “Uh—ma’am, that’s—we really shouldn’t—”
Damien pouted and arched his back. “Don’t you want a good girl?”
The other one stepped in. “She’s trying to distract us.”
Damien turned to him with full puppy-dog eyes. “But why would I do that? You’re soooo strong and brave. I feel so safe with you...”
The man twitched.
Then behind them: a soft ding from the console. Hack complete.
Nyx’s voice, cool and cruel: “Thanks, boys.”
Both guards turned too late.
A smoke capsule exploded at their feet.
Damien screamed dramatically as Nyx hauled him back by the wrist. “Time to go, tits.”
They barreled out onto the balcony. Nyx fired a line to the rooftop below.
“Are we seriously zip-lining in heels?!”
She grinned. “You’re doing great, sweetheart. Almost makes up for how hard you were selling it.”
Damien flushed. “I was improvising!”
“Sure you were.”
