After a few agonizing hours, the woman finally stopped in front of a tree. You couldn't see what she was doing as you were being squashed below her boot, but you could hear her doing a complicated sequence of knocks on the tree. You then heard a faint creaking noise, the woman then stepped forward where the tree used to be. The grassy forest ground was replaced by cold wooden boards as your captor started navigating some sort of secret hideout. The place was very busy from the sound of it, you could hear lots of voices in the background but you couldn't quite make out what they were saying.
You then hear the voice of a much older woman "It's good to see you Gwen, did your mission go well?". The woman whose's shoe you were stuck to(Gwen apparently) answered back:"Of course Samantha, I've got the gems in this sack right here". "You're sure no one followed you?" Samantha asked. "Don't worry, no one saw me come here. Well, except this one stupid fairy... But i made sure he wouldn't snitch." Gwen answers. "Very well, you may return to your chamber to rest up." Samantha said. "That's what i was planning to do." Gwen said, she then started walking again.
After a short walk, Gwen entered her room and sat on a chair. She then lifted her boots up on her desk, you took a sigh of relief as the pressure was finally lifted from your body. You stretch out your arms and you started pushing against her shoe with all your might, but you barely budged as after several hours your body was basically glued to the sole of her boot. It takes you 10 minutes to fully dislodge yourself, and another 10 minutes laying on her desk in order to recover. Luckily Gwen was too busy resting, she might have even fallen asleep, but you didn't bother checking as you immediately started thinking of a way out of this situation.
This place was most likely a hideout for thieves or assassins, and was likely filled to the brim with stolen treasures. On the walls of Gwen's room you see several banners that display a pile of coins with an open hand above them. This was the symbol of the forty thieves! An elusive guild of the forty most experienced thieves on the world. You've heard they have an underground hideout somewhere, but you would have never assumed that it was in your own forest.
