Mimori kept walking thankfully leaving you behind pulverized in the ground. Another stroke of good luck was that Crystal noticed your recent chain of unfortunate events. "I'll catch up with you guys in a sec just gotta take care of something!" The spunky fairy yells to her co-workers.
Crystal flies down to you and peels you off the ground daintily. "Couldn't wait for me to come back home huh?" She giggles. "Well I took the liberty of talking to the higher ups first thing in the morning and everyone agrees that your situation is perfect for our public service program!"
You look deeply concerned but can't speak up until she dusts you off roughly against her hip and then brings you to her lips blowing you back up like a balloon. "What!? Perfect fit? I just want to get back to normal!"
Crystal smiles "Exactly! Which we will do for you."
You sigh with relief until she continues.
"AFTER you've completed some public service assignments."
You protest "How am I supposed to help people when I'm even smaller than normal? I can't even fly outdoors without being swept away in the wind."
She smirks "Well that's the price you pay for all the trouble you've caused over the years. You'll just have to try your best and grit through it and your efforts will be rewarded. Oh and that'll just get your size back, you'll still be accountable for other crimes..."
You just glare up at her. She simply shrugs her shoulders and replies "Or I can put you right back on the ground and let you continue your brilliant strategy of.... getting stepped on by literally everyone?"
You sigh deeply and reply "You've made your point... I'm in, where do we go from here?"
She smiles and says "Now I take you to queen Maleficent and she will decide who you need to help!"
Your eyes widen "M-m-Maleficent?" You stutter choking on her name.
"Yeah! Even you're not.... Hmmm how should I put this. Well even a mischievous little flea like you knows better than to get on her bad side right?" She says laughing as she takes off with you in hand.
Before you know it Crystal lands at the heart of the fairy woods and places you on the ground before the massive throne of Maleficent. You both immediately kneel and bow before the beautiful Faye queene as she lounges on her seat. Her eyes flashing green for a moment and her dark feathered wings shifting as they sway in the breeze. Her long dark hair flows freely down her shoulders, adorned by her menacing horns.
"Officer Crystal so good to see you again!" Maleficent says flashing her perfect teeth with a smile "And could that be our MASTER thief?" She says sarcastically as she squints pretending to have trouble seeing your tiny form, her magical eyes burning green again as she locks onto you.
You feel intense anxiety but manage to stammer "Yes Queene Maleficent I've come to humbly request my assignment to stone for-"
The queen taps her staff loudly on the floor "Oh come now no need to be so dramatic. I know a thing or two about causing trouble as I'm sure you know. Why your exploits are nothing compared to my wilder days" she sighs happily with nostalgia
You exhale quietly with astounding relief knowing the Faye queen isn't really too upset with you.
"AHEM" She catches herself "However, as you also know I've made incredible strides to have the Faye kingdom come to peace and good standing with other, admittedly far less fun nations and I cannot allow your antics to jeopardize our good standing. Bring him to me Crystal!"
You are quickly picked up and zoomed over to Maleficent as Crystal lands gently on her open palm and places you down and immediately kneels on her hand.
"Oh Crystal relax will you?" Maleficent says warmly and the tiny officer blushes and nods up at her. "Alright miniscule Alf!" She Queene says sharply as she once again playfully squints down at her palm pretending to try and find you. Ah there you are, carful you don't end up under Crystals foot!" She laughs and taps her staff once again making the magic Orb start flashing many different faces one after the other.
"Now who will be your first assignment?" Maleficent says with a grin before tapping the staff again making the flashing faces slow down. You saw many different princesses, common folk and other magical races and beings flash amongst the staff until it finally stops on a particular face....
