"...because you probably won't be seeing much of Aunt Susan today. Jen is taking us to work with her!"
You wince for a moment, quickly reliving your last experience accompanying a family member to work, but then you remember exactly what your cousin Jen does on a regular basis.
"Wait, you mean to the modeling studio?" you ask incredulously.
You've often dreamed of what Jen's workplace was like, scantily clad beauties smiling and laughing happily, gum drops and rainbows cascading in the background. It was a dream come true.
Christine smiles broadly. "Yup! She even said she talked to her agent about me and showed her those headshot I had done back home. She thinks she can get me a job there too!"
Your sister is so excited that she doesn't even show an inkling of wanting to start your daily battle. For the first time in longer than you can remember, you were both excited enough about the same thing that you left each other alone in the morning.
The prospect of being surrounded by gorgeous women, while under the protection of your cautious cousin, gave you a jolt of energy you didn't have when you first woke up. You had never prepared for the day faster. Christine was focused on making herself look as good as possible, wanting to make as positive of an impression as she could. Jen was already ready and had prepared breakfast by the time you made it downstairs.
To your surprise, breakfast goes without incident. Maybe Christine doesn't want to risk doing anything that could get her on Jen's bad side, or maybe she's just too focused and excited about what her day has in store. Either way, you make it through breakfast peacefully.
Jen carefully carries you to her car and you buckle into your makeshift security seat within her cup holder. You look up at Christine in the passenger seat and smile as she peppers Jen with questions. This could be a very good day.
It's a short drive to the studio and Christine offers her hand to carry you in. You eye her cautiously.
"Oh come on bro, if I wanted to mess with you today, I would have done something by now," she says truthfully. Can't argue with that logic. You trust her and step on her waiting palm. She carries you into the studio as gently as ever and the two of you waltz passed reception, following your cousin. Everyone in the studio seems to know her well as she greets people with a happy smile.
Your group arrives at a large paneled door. Jen instructs you and your sister to wait outside the office as she goes in to talk with her agent. Christine takes a seat. You notice she's nervous as she's fiddling with her bracelet as you rest on her leg. You swallow hard and put a reassuring hand on her wrist.
"Don't stress Christine, you look great. They'll love you here and you're in great hands with Jen!" you call up with a smile. Your sister nervously smiles back and thanks you.
Just then, a beautiful, curvaceous tanned woman walks in and takes a seat across the hall from you and Christine. Your eyes fall on her from the moment she enters the hallway, she has a commanding presence. She has dark hair, a narrow waist, thick thighs, and a full chest. She looks like she may be of South Asian descent, as you study her closely. She sits confidently and scrolls through her phone.
Your attention doesn't go unnoticed by Christine. "Someone seems to have caught your attention Allen," she whispers down to you with a giggle."
You blush and nod in agreement, not taking your eyes off of the woman.
"Well go over there and say hello!" your sister encourages you.
"What, are you crazy?" you call back.
"I'll bet you she'll think you're cute. But you never know until you try! Here, I'll give you a quick boost," she says encouragingly and earnestly. She casually strolls across the room as if she was looking out the window before dropping you on the chair next to the mystery woman on her way back, despite your attempts at protest.
You look up at the goddess like woman who you are now just a few feet away from. "Wow, she's even more gorgeous up close," you think. You swallow hard and begin to make your approach.
