Juli walked in the door, dropping her bag at her feet. What a day. Kim had called in sick around four hours ago, so Juli had had to work twice as hard to make up for it. Now she was totally exhausted, and had to come home to a sickly roomate. Speaking of which...
"Kim? Kim, are you alright?" she called. As annoyed as she was with Kim, she still had to check if she was okay. What were friends for?
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine Juli." replied Kim from her room. It was down the hall, and the door was closed, but Juli could still here Kim's distinctive giggle, even if it was muffled. Frowning, Juli walked to the door and opened, and then stepped backwards, covering her eyes.
"Juli! Haven't you ever heard of knocking?"
"Aw, Kim! I did NOT need to see that. Here I was all concerned for you and I find out you left me to do all the work at the pool so you could come home and 'enjoy yourself'?"
"Sorry. I just had one of those days where I really needed to let off some stress." she giggled.
"Yeah, but did you have to ruin a set of bedsheets while you were at it?"
"I said sorry. Anyway, what do you think of my new monokini? It's the latest in pleasurable clothes."
"It looked atrocious. It doesn't even cover anything. Anyway, do you know what happenned to Jim? Melissa was frantic by the end of the day. She's worried he got kidnapped or something."
"No idea. Now, do you mind?"
"Juli closed the door and removed her hand from her face. Of all the... Not only had Kim called in sick to get out of work, Juli was going to have to clean up after her too, by the looks of it. And that cute new lifeguard was missing as well. He'd been VERY interesting.
Slowly, Juli put two and two together. Missing Jim. Kim's new outfit.
Juli turned and began walking back towards Kim's room.
