With a SNAP of her gum, Kim wakes you up out of your trance.
"So.....Juli's partner huh? Lots of luck with that klutz. Knowing her, she'll have stepped on you three times without even knowing it before your lunch break."
You're not shaken at all. "I can take it!" You say back to Kim. I've lived my whole life being underfoot one way or another. I'm sure Juli can't be that bad."
Kim laughs. "You haven't met her yet." She bends down and picks you up, wrapping you tight in a closed fist. You start to get a little nervous as she carries you toward Melissa's desk and not out toward the park area like you had expected. Plus, life experience has taught you, when people hold you like this, it normally means they don't have the best intentions for you.
"If you're going to work with Juli," Kim continues, "We're going to really have to build up your tolerance for pain. Accidental or not. Make sure that body of yours is really tough." She continues to talk as she pulls out several strips of very strong multi purpose tape from Melissa's desk. "This will be step one of your training"
