Julie is still sobbing as you look up at her. She stoops and opens her hand next to you, gesturing for you to get on.
She continues to cry. You can hardly understand what she's saying through her tears and cries. You make out a few words, but nothing that you could string together to make any sense. You start to wonder if she was even able to hear anything you said to her when you were on the ground. How could she above her own loud crying?
".....deserve......try......lifeguard........screwed up.........Kim.......you.........Melissa never......"
You stopped listening when she said Kim. You weren't sure what she was talking about, but even the mention of Kim's name made you shiver and shake with fear. Julie notices your reaction and looks down, slowing her tears.
"See? You're so scared of what I'm going to do next you can't even sit in my hand without shaking! And who can blame you? I'm such a clutz!" she yelled, mostly to herself.
Then it looked like Julie got an idea.
"I may not be able to avoid squashing you by mistake, but I know somebody who can!"
She then takes the short walk back to the lifeguard office to hand you off to....
