"Alright Jim the rest of the day should be a piece of cake for you. Just help me out on my desk with some filing and maybe cleaning up some of this clutter. This is just for today though you are going back out there with Juli first thing in the morning." You give a sigh of relief and thanks Melissa. She smiles down at you and starts doing some paperwork. You start pushing stacks of sticky notes, rolling pens around, and dragging papers to make her desk a little neater. You tell Melissa about your day and what you think about your coworkers. She giggles when you mention that you are glad to be partnered up with a sweet girl like Juli but that her clutziness has you a bit worried. You also mention Kim and that she scares the living crap out of you. Melissa nods with a smile saying "Yeah I can definitely see her doing that to you, that is why I set you up with Juli. Kim is a great lifeguard though you can learn a lot from her but....well I'm not gonna force you to take on that kind of torture." You swallow hard with a loud gulp and force out "I will do whatever it takes to be a better life guard and keep this job!" Melissa smiles and brings her face down right over you. You stop what you are doing and stare up at her a bit worried. "Well if that's the case I know how you can get plenty of training before tomorrow. " You look at the clock "How? this shift is almost ov..." You then see where she is getting at... "Jim I think you should go home with..." you start thinking "Please not Kim please not Kim" over and over again. Melissa continues... "Juli. She is your partner after all and you can train safer without having to worry about all of the customers walking around." Your heart skips a beat "That sounds great! Don't worry we will do great!" Melissa watches you work again with more energy. There is a catch though but Melissa decides it would be best if you figured it out on your own... The end of the day comes and Melissa radios Juli in and tells her about the new plan. You watch from a chair as they whisper a bit and notice Juli throwing quick glances at you and giggling. You blush a bit but then notice both of them get serious all of a sudden. Juli gives Melissa a reassuring nod and they smile again. You brush it off and hop onto Juli's hand when she walks by and you both wave goodbye to Melissa.
