Suddenly, a ring sounded for Laura’s purse, she unzipped the purse and pulled her phone out to answer it. “Hello? ... Yeah. I’m at the food court grabbing lunch ... Oh... okay. Yeah no problem ... That sounds great! ... Ok, see you soon! Buh-bye!”
Laura hung up her phone and turned her attention back towards you. “Sorry to cut and run like this, sweetie, but my friends are getting tired and want to go catch a movie instead. I’d invite you to join, but you have a job to do!”
“Yes! You’re right!” You said with enthusiasm, filly replenished from the awesome meal. “It was great meeting you, take care, Laura!”
“You as well, Jim! Do you want a lift back to the spa?” Laura kindly asked.
“That’s okay, it’s a nice day so I can walk!” You humbly answered.
“Alrighty then!” Laura sang. “Best of luck on the new job!” Laura shot you a thumbs up before parting ways with you.
