Before you could continue the conversation even deeper, Avery and Sandra sauntered over to you both. “Hey guys, how was your nap?” Michelle happily greeted her friends. As much as you appreciate Avery, and Sandra seems cool despite her flirtations, you were kind of bummed that your alone time with Michelle was interrupted. It only got worse as you turned to meet Sandra’s gaze, she winked at you as she eyed you with intention.
“Hiya! The nap was SO refreshing! What have you both been up to?” Avery asked joyfully. “Oh nothing much, we patrolled the beach earlier, and just had some lunch! This place is awesome!” Michelle happily expressed. You were happy that she had a good time with you! Avery was happy you two were getting along so well “Oh cool! That sounds uber awesome! Anyway, I wanted to tell you both that we decided to throw a pool party at Sandra’s tonight.”
A pool party sounded awesome to you! You love the water! “That sounds cool! I’m down!” Sandra smiled at your eagerness. “Oh yes! And you’ll be the guest of honor, Hunter!” She raised her eyebrows and gave you a seductive smirk causing you to awkwardly shudder at her tender words.
“So what about you, Michelle?” Avery asked. Michelle pondered for a moment. “Hmm.. that does sound fun..” she said. “Yeah! You should totally go! It will be fun!” You chimed in, encouraging the opportunity to spend time with your new friend. Michelle smiled warmly at your request. “Ok! Sure! Why not?” Avery was elated. “Awesome! Yaaaay!”
“I’m going to get going!” Sandra declared. “Some other girls are going to come as well, so I have to stop by the store, grab snacks, and clean my place!” Sandra texted Avery and Michelle her address. “Everything should hopefully be ready by the time Hunter is off work.”
“I’ll come with you and help out!” Michelle piped up. “Oh that would be awesome, thank you Michelle!” Sandra said graciously. “Avery, are you okay with staying behind? Someone needs to drive Hunter to the party.” Avery perked up at that revelation. “Oh yeah! That sounds totes awesome!!” Avery cheered. “I’ll just meet y’all there in a few hours!” Your bubbly roommate scooped you off the table into her hands. “Sounds awesome! Seeya there Hunter!” Sandra sang as she gave you a flirty wave before walking away. Michelle followed behind her, turning around to wave goodbye. “See you guys soon! Great talking to you today, Hunter!” You waved back at your crush. “Yeah! Great talking to you too Michelle!” Avery happily walked away with you back to the sunbathing spot from earlier. You felt it was a good idea to patrol the beach again and see who you can help! “Hey Avery, I’m going to take a walk around and see who needs help, would you like to come with me?” Avery considered your proposal for a moment, as much as she loves hanging with you, a part of her would much rather just relax and chill.
