It was a couple of weeks after her announcement to her fellow lifeguards that Quinn asked to speak to Melissa, and let the older woman know that she would be leaving Tsunami Land. As much as she had loved her time at the park, with pending nuptials and an intention to start a family, she’d sought out a more secure role and had obtained a new job as a high school swimming coach. For her part, Melissa was clearly unsurprised, noting that she had expected as much and wishing Quinn and her fiancé well. You internally thanked your boss for her well wishes, even if you were a bit confused when she pointedly added that all company property would, of course, need to be returned, and for some reason looked at you while saying so. While you wondered what she meant, your owner just nodded and said she knew, so you figured that whatever it was, your beloved had it well in hand.
The next two weeks were full of tearful goodbyes and tight hugs from your and Quinn’s co-workers. As you found yourself squeezed against their bodies over and over, you had to admit that you were going to miss these women and their loyal swimwear, having gotten used to having them around. Even if you’d never directly spoken, you felt like you knew these girls, having seen them go about their day-to-day at the park and listened to the words they exchanged with others. You witnessed and understood the hard work and dedication of their tiny-products as they kept them covered and supported through it all, feeling the sense of solidarity that came from a shared goal. Despite that, you could admit that you were also looking forward to your new life. Your misgivings from earlier had all but disappeared now, and you were more confident than ever that things were going great.
Eventually, your beloved’s last day at Tsunami Land came, and after a final send-off party from your friends, the two of you were now alone in the changing rooms as Quinn slowly peeled you from her body, doing so with painstaking slowness, seeming almost… reluctant. Once you were completely removed, you were lifted and turn to face your owner, a sad smile on her face before she suddenly hugged you fiercely to her naked chest. At first you were happy, if a little embarrassed, thinking that this was to be the start of a new normal for you. Of a more expressly intimate relationship with the one you loved. Instead, your heart shattered into a million pieces as the black-haired beauty began to speak. “I know I’m not supposed to speak to you like you’re a human, and you may well hate me for doing this, but I just needed to say… thank you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I don’t even know your name, but you’ve been there for me for years, always offering your support.”
What was happening? No, no! This couldn’t be real. Of course she knew your name. Hadn’t she said it when she told the others you were getting married? Yet, as she continued to speak it all finally began to make sense. “I’m going to have to leave you behind now. I’m sorry about that. I don’t know if you specifically wanted to me mine or not, but I just can’t take you with me. I hope…” She chocked up a little, a single tear leaving her eye almost seeming to be in mockery of the tears you wished to shed but couldn’t. “I hope that you will find just as much happiness in supporting others, as you did me.” And with that you were taken away from the warmth of her chest, the words you wanted to scream out silent and unheard as you were gently hung on the door of the lifeguard’s former locker.
As you watched your now former owner get dressed you realised with a crushing finality that your previous fears had been correct. You weren’t the one that Quinn loved. You weren’t her fiancé. You weren’t to be the father of her child. You weren’t even a man. You were just swimwear. You were just HER swimwear. Your only purpose in life was to hold her body and support her assets. And now? Now you wouldn’t even have that. As you hung there, lifeless and unmoving, you received one last sorrowful glance before watching your entire world walk away. You couldn’t cry anymore, but as the lights turned off and you realised you may never see your love again, you silently sank into despair.
In your grief, time lost all meaning to you. You weren’t sure whether you hung there, abandoned, for hours or months. Occasionally another lifeguard would pass-by, but they never staid to talk to you. To offer you comfort in your grief. Eventually, you found yourself retrieved from your perch, carried off by a figure you vaguely recognised as Kim. You found yourself largely numb to the pain this time as you were twisted and pulled once more, your size reduced somewhat, and your design adjusted. A small stabbing pain heralded the removal of the name that had previously adorned you, and the addition of another, as yet unseen moniker. Then you were taken to a new locker to wait once more.
It was another two days in the dark before you met your new owner, and the moment you saw your reflection in the mirror, wrapped around her body, all you could think was that she wasn’t Quinn. Her skin was tan, not pale. Her long-braided hair more a dark brown than the short black locks you had fallen in love with. Her eyes a vivid green, instead of a piercing blue. Her abs were too toned. Her curves impressive, but not nearly large enough. She was too young, looking as if she was barely out of school. Worse of all, the name JESSICA stitched large across your front, resting upon the swell of her breasts, was all wrong. You felt the hole in your heart growing at the loss of Quinn’s name.
The feeling of being worn by someone else was initially so unpleasant to you that you tried to block it out. Tried to pretend that you weren’t being worn. That the feeling of Jessica’s body moving within you was just an illusion, and that you’d soon snap out of it when your true owner returned to claim you. Yet, inevitably, you had to accept this for what it was. Whether you liked it or not, you could not deny that you now belonged to her, so as the days passed you did your best to adjust. Did your best to ignore how strange it felt to be wrapped around this new body, feeling as if you were still empty. Eventually, as the weeks passed, you felt as if you could live with this. You just wanted to be useful.
Meanwhile, while you were working all of this through, Jessica loved you immediately. You were her first full-time tiny product, and she adored the way you moved with her like a second layer of skin, quickly relegating half of her existing wardrobe to the back of her cupboard and designating you as her go-to workout gear. A fitness enthusiast, the young lifeguard didn’t hold back, and you were worn through endless jogs, bike rides and gym trips, when you weren’t being used at work. Gallons of sweat poured into you on a daily basis, overwhelming your senses until your new owner was the only thing you could truly think about, even your love for Quinn slowly becoming less all-consuming.
For nearly two years your life was consumed by Jessica as she became your new everything. Though she mostly treated you as clothing, there were times when she acknowledged your true nature. Only ever when you were alone, and in a hushed voice, but there none the less. Sometimes after running, while she was gulping down water as you gulped down her sweat, she’d complement your work, or would allow you a small smile and a thanks as she striped for a shower after an intense gym session. Her words kept you sane. Reminded you you had a purpose. That you were more than just fabric. Then one day, the words that left her wet lips were a soft farewell, and you were alone once more.
Your next owner was a mature and full-figured woman named Monica, hired as a safety officer for the expanding park. Her larger body stretched you to your limits and she usually kept you hidden under board shorts and a loose t-shirt, denying you any view of the outside world. Worse, she never acknowledged you as human, and only ever wore you at work, leaving you to spend long hours alone in a locker, silently begging her to come back, or for someone else to take you. Needing to be filled. Eventually she stopped wearing you altogether, and you hung abandoned in her locker for months before finally being retrieved and transferred to a new owner, a bouncy busty blonde named Elly.
In this way, the years began to pass you by, your ownership changing again and again beyond your control. You passed through the hands of so many women that you started to recognise them more by the unique feel of their bodies being poured into your embrace then by their words or faces. Elly liked to take you surfing, your form squeezed between her body and her wetsuit as an extra layer of warmth. Izumi would take you hiking and rock-climbing on the weekends, her slight frame straining within you as she moved. Summer preferred to laze around on her couch when she wasn’t at work, and loved having a garment she could wear all day without needing to wash. Becky loved going to raves, dancing and sweating within the crush of bodies as you held her close. Amira wore you for steamy make-outs, she and her lovers getting a deep thrill from having you pressed between them.
Then, one day, over twenty years after that fateful day on the beach, you found yourself with yet another name stitched into you, and the next day you were once more wrapped around a body you did not know, though which in some ways felt achingly familiar. The mirror before you showed you clinging to the body of a young woman, who could not have been any older than you had once been before all of this began, her eyes unknowingly meeting your gaze as you wondered who she was. Did she bear some relevance to your past, or was your mind just playing tricks on you again? You hoped at least that she would use you thoroughly, not wanting to return to the darkness of that locker.
