“Hmm, I think I should probably go with one of the three bosses. They all handle a fairly sizeable responsibility running businesses so I suppose we could trust them with this,” you reasoned.
Quinn and Morgan both looked at you with a small amount of concern, clearly thinking that this was a bad idea.
“...Ok, so which one do you want to go with?” Quinn asked, her voice betraying very little emotion. You could tell, however, that she was a little concerned about choosing Brigitte based on her comments earlier.
“I personally think Heather would be a better choice out of all of them to be honest, I think Avery’s boss would probably take advantage of you and Quinn doesn’t seem that enthusiastic about Brigitte,” unlike Quinn, Morgan displayed her concern fully on her face. Clearly she thought you would have been better to go with someone closer to the you all. “And at least if you went with Heather, I would be able to keep an eye on you since we work fairly closely together in the same building. With Brigitte, Quinn wouldn’t be anywhere near her for most of her shifts.”
As you took in your two roommates words, you felt like you didn’t have the necessary time to make a decision this serious. Isabella could be here any day now and any choice would be better than getting taken away by her considering if that happened you’d never see any of your roommates again.
Finally you came to a decision.
“Ok, I’ve made my choice,” Quinn and Morgan waited with baited breath for your next words. “I want you to give me to...”
1) “... Heather.” You go with Morgan’s boss, reasoning that she would likely be the most careful with you since Morgan described her as a “southern mom”. However you failed to consider that you could spend a considerable amount of time as her workout clothing.
2) “... Brigitte.” Deciding to go with Brigitte since you had already met her, you failed to think that perhaps the intimidating giantess wouldn’t be quite as kind to you now that you didn’t work for her and were basically just property now.
3) “... Avery’s boss, Konomi.” Shocking both yourself and Quinn and Morgan, you blurted out the least likely of the three choices. How will the shrewd businesswoman react to having a tiny guy with a general usage license given to her? And how will Avery react to you not wanting to be used by her but choosing to be given to her boss?
