Underqualified and In Over Your Head A Shrunken Roommate (Re-upload) chapter 10 by Bobob1

(OG by Hectic)

“Alright well, tell me about one of those jobs Norah got you into. I can’t begin to imagine that she was very good at her job.” Quinn said bemused.

“Eh, well honestly it would depend on who you were asking. According to me? Of course not. But unfortunately for many of my employers I was the ideal employee. After all, even if I disagreed with something Norah had signed me up for, I still felt like I owed it to her and whoever hired me to at least try my best.” You responded. Quinn raised her eyebrows, impressed slightly by your honorable attitude towards what must have been terrible situations for you.

“Okay I’ll start you off with one of the more normal ones to ease you into this whole chapter of my life…

(BEGIN FLASHBACK)

“Director of Sales?! Like a real job?!” You said in an exasperated tone up to Norah, you currently standing on the center console of the giantess’s car as she drove you to your first day. You couldn’t believe your ears when you heard the job that your aunt was offering you at that moment. At this point in time you were 19 years old and had just finished your first year of college. In all honesty you were looking into actual internships as opposed to spending another summer doing random odd jobs with Norah. But for once it seemed like she had brought you a real opportunity! You continued, “Just regular sales, right? I’m not going to be selling myself as a towel or clothing or an insole or something insane like that?”

Norah cocked one eyebrow in confusion. “Of course not! I’m really sorry about some misunderstandings for jobs in the past but this one is legit! The current director is going on an impromptu month long vacation for some reason! He said he desperately needed it and the company wanted someone to fill in! I know you think you’re underqualified but the listing specifically said that people of any experience could fill the role! So consider this one as payback for helping you out so much with jobs in the past!”

Norah’s words of encouragement actually encouraged you for once. And considering that you had now spent more than 5 minutes without being squished by her in one way or another you actually felt enthusiasm towards this opportunity. You wondered briefly why the current director had decided to go on vacation all of the sudden, but you quickly brushed that thought aside as the two of you pulled into the parking lot. Looking out the front windshield you saw a towering skyscraper looming above you. It looked classy and professional, essentially the opposite of how most of your previous stints with Norah had gone. Quickly Norah parked the car, shot you a confident smile, and grabbed you rather gently for once as the two of you headed towards the front doors of the building.

With the direction of the desk attendant and then a subsequent lengthy elevator ride, the doors finally opened onto one of the top floors of the building! The space was rather open, with only another set of large doors separating what seemed to be a large private office from the waiting room you were currently in. To your side seemed to be a smaller desk, littered with papers and an overall sense of messiness that the rest of the building did not exude. Moreover, a chair seemed to be pulled out and left askew behind the desk, almost as if someone had left mere moments before. Norah simply walked ahead, opening the double doors into an elegantly furnished private office. You fully expected to see some bigshot lady executive sitting in that room, waiting to greet you. But when you two scanned the room, both of your eyes landed on a tiny man, just like you, only a fair bit older and wearing what looked like an expensive suit.

“Ah you must be my replacement! Hunter, was it? Please miss you can place him on the desk with me, I’ll give him a quick prep session then I’ll be headed to Barbados!”

“Sure thing! Norah said, somehow still maintaining an air of composure and competence that you had rarely seen from the woman in your life. If this was any other moment that you had been around Norah then you would have already been squashed flat by now, and the other tiny guy wouldn’t have stated three dimensional for much longer either. She took a few steps forward and deposited you on the desk, next to the sharp dressed guy, before speaking again. “I actually have to run, I’m meeting my sister for an exercise class. Good luck Hunter!” She said as she quickly turned around and walked out of the room. You saw the man beside you look intently at Norah’s massive backside as she strutted out of the room, clearly not knowing the immeasurable amount of torture that it could put out. As your aunt closed the doors behind her, it was just you and the executive standing next to each other. Immediately a new sense of nervousness hit you. Not the typical nerves about getting squished or used in one way or another, but an actually typical nervousness that came with getting hired for a job you were severely underqualified for.

Just as you were about to ask him any sort of question about the actual work you would be doing, the chipper attitude with which he addressed you and Norah moments before faded in an instant as his shoulders slumped.

“Listen up, kid. Just try your best with the actual work, I don’t care if you make a single sale while I’m gone. If you do, hurray, if you don’t who gives a shit. I just need a break from that girl… that goddamned idiot.” He said, confusing you greatly, before turning and looking you dead in the eyes. The grave look on his face honestly scared you as he continued, “My new assistant, Grace, is without exaggeration, the most oblivious airhead I have ever dealt with in my entire life. And I know what you’re thinking already, but I can’t fire her because she’s the daughter of one of my lifelong friends… I used to love this job, but she makes it a living hell. I can’t get through a single workday in one piece. I just need a break from it all.”

The guy ended his monologue and you didn’t know what to say. He had an assistant after all, could her being a little forgetful or dumb really be that bad? Once again you were about to ask him more about both the job and now this wildcard girl but just then the door swung open! And through those doors walked what could only be described as an angel come to life.

The woman was strikingly tall, first of all, likely standing around 5’10” if not taller. She had feathered long blonde hair that was parted down the center, cascading and framing her face perfectly. On that face was a pair of oversized, thick rimmed glasses that almost looked fake, like a nerd costume put on by the most popular girl in a cheesy movie. Her face was slender, with a radiant white smile shining through. Your eyes then practically popped open as your sight was drawn to her body. She was wearing a tight white button down shirt, with said buttons holding on for dear life behind the tremendous breasts that threatened their integrity. The shirt was tucked into a decidedly not-safe-for-work length black pencil skirt that showed off nearly all of her long, tanned legs. Not to mention an oversized yet firm ass that you could quite literally see from the front. Finally, a pair of open toed black heels added an extra three inches of unnecessary height to the woman.

You were flabbergasted. While a few women in your life had her assets beat in terms of sheer size, such as Norah, your mother Helen, and now your new roommate Quinn. This woman’s ratio of breasts and butt to waist was on another level. For all intents and purposes, she looked like a porn star more than an office assistant.

“Hi Mister Sebastian!” She chirped giddily as she walked into the room, and you realized up until that moment that you hadn’t even received his name either. You waited a brief second for either her to greet you or Sebastian to introduce you, but before either of those things could happen you saw the large coffee cup that Grace was holding head straight for your position before slamming on top of your body, squishing you flat onto the desk as well as burning you beneath warm cardboard.

“Grace! Didn’t I tell you to get me a tiny size cup from downstairs? Also pick up that cup right now my replacement is under it!” Grace’s eyes widened with surprise as she took a moment to process even this simplest of requests, before finally lifting the coffee cup to reveal your now reddened, slightly twitching form.

“Ohmygosh I’m so sorry! Please forgive me I didn’t mean to!” The goddess of a woman bent down and scooped you up briefly, blowing air over your body in an attempt to cool you like some sort of fresh pastry or something. To be honest you quickly forgot about the airhead’s blunder, as the sight of her gorgeous face trying to help you overwhelmed your senses.

“Grace, his name is Hunter, treat him with the same respect that you treat me with until I get back. Got it?” Grace simply turned and looked between you two before smiling for a moment. “Also I have to get out of here rather quickly so if you don’t mind getting me on that elevator I can be on my way.”

Grace looked back at the elevator she came up in, the doors just starting to close from when she stepped off less than a minute ago. “Oh, okay I got it!” She said in an instant, dropping you about a foot carelessly onto the desk before scooping up your predecessor in her hands. In a move that both shocked and amazed you, Grace reached her hand back and hurled Sebastian as hard as she could down the hall and into the elevator doors just before they closed! You could only watch as he flattened immediately against the back wall before fluttering down to the ground like a piece of paper. You prayed that nobody else in the building would be getting on that elevator before he reached the ground floor.

“Nailed it!” She said happily as she turned back to you and enchanted you with her smile again.

How does your “normal” job go with this ditz of an assistant?
