Yakima coughed and hacked up the water that had gone down her windpipe, and your cry of fear was drowned out by the sound. Still mostly flat, you were powerless to prevent yourself from entering the gorgeous woman's mouth- between the direction you'd been floating through the water and her position upon resurfacing, you were met with the perfect blend of misfortune, as her wide-opened jaws engulfed you.
You tried to scream out to get her attention, but between the sounds of the busy lake-goers and her own coughing she couldn't hear you.
"Yakima! Do you see him anywhere?! I still can't find him!"
"No! I didn't see him under the water!" Her lungs finally free of water, Yakima called back, needing to raise her voice to make sure that she was heard. This was the worst! It was all her fault that Ben was missing! And she'd let him get lost in the middle of a crowded lake- how could the situation get any worse? Claire had been quick to console her, telling Yakima that her brother was mostly too light to sink under the water (especially so in his flattened state, but even so you could have been plastered to some girl's butt, or dragged down by a strong current...
Oh God... If something happened to Ben, she would never forgive herself!
It was at that point she realized she'd gotten something stuck in her mouth when she'd breeched the surface of the water, a free-floating leaf or something most likely.
...Wait a minute! Yakima's heart thudded in her chest- please oh please let that be who she thought it was!
Yakima stuck her fingers into her mouth, trying to pry the flat thing off of the surface of her tongue. It was difficult to get a good feel of it while treading water, but now that she focused and tried to ignore the sounds around her, she could hear Ben's voice inside her mouth.
Not only that, but the thing in her mouth was getting bigger! Now that you weren't being tossed around like a coin in a washing machine, your body was finally able to reform!
"Yakima! In here! Get me out!"
Yakima couldn't say anything without risking swallowing you, but some of the tension left her body upon hearing your unmistakable voice from within her mouth. Thank God, she'd found you!
