/*** Hopefully this is in the spirit of the story or at least acceptable. I decided to set up some new scenarios with a differing set of...emotional states. ***/
You stared into Cassie's grinning face with disbelief. Cassie, the person you love, was referring to the torture you've experienced these past four months as your calling. What had happened to her? Once Cassie would have sat down and talked it out with you calmly, exchanging words to help better understand one another. But now? She was giving you same look that...Kimberly had. That Aunt Tara had. That every woman who had ever abused you had. Four months ago when she had the chance to let you explain yourself, she had handed you off to Kimberly without so much as a discussion.
Why was it that everyone who abused you knew how weak you were yet everyone who cared for you pretended that you had the same physical capability as everyone else? It's only when that delusion is broken that they start treating you like this.
One thing was clear; Cassie was not the person you thought she was.
"You're right Cassie. We're through. I can't believe I thought you understood me. I thought you were someone who would have my back, who understood my weaker more vulnerable position in society. Right now, you're no different that Aunt Tara! Apparently, all it takes for you to turn on me is one mistake!" You yell as loudly as your small lungs could. Cassie blinks at this. Kimberly smirks while Cassie's visage darkens.
"I admit what I did four months ago was a poor decision made while in a panic. But ask yourself, how was I even in there in the first place? Cassie, you squashed me with your ass during you and your sisters wrestling match! You dragged me in there with you! You even KICKED ME after your shower into the wall! In fact, as soon as I stepped into this house you've been neglecting me entirely! It's like you forgot that I'm only TWELVE INCHES TALL! No matter what you think I'm capable of, NOTHING CHANGES THAT! Though I guess you're just going to say that's an excuse." Your voice is starting to get a bit hoarse. This isn't something you'd want to say normally. "Kimberly, the only reason why I agreed to that ass slave nonsense was because you TERRIFIED ME! I thought you would do something far worse to me if I declined your offer. In fact, why wouldn't you?! You would have the same power Cassie has over me right now! All you'd have to do is prepare a neat little lie and that's it! I'm GONE!" You notice Kimberly's smirk is missing. It's been replaced with a thoughtful expression...you didn't like that. Cassie, on the other hand, had begun to look a bit more...contemplative? Chagrined? You couldn't tell.
You stop to take a breath. Cassie breaks in with "Mom, we'll need to talk about your "offer." You made it sound like Jake was the one who asked to be an...ass slave." Kimberly is a bit shocked at hearing that judging by her rapid eye blinking.
Currently, Cassie was conflicted. Had she gotten too comfortable with your size? Had she taken for granted what you're capable of? How scared must Jake have been? Four months of seething anger could not be wiped out in one conversation but...maybe she should've had this conversation sooner.
"Alright Jake, you've agreed that we're through. What do you want?" Cassie asks.
"I just want to go home, away from all of this. I want to meet new people. I want to feel like, for a second, I've got control of my life again. Four months of being held prisoner, gasping for breath that rarely comes..." you're choking on the words as they spill out "...and I never want to see any of you again." You don't say this with any anger...but sorrow and fear.
Cassie's face...was neutral. Who knows what she was thinking.
"So please, Cassie. Just let me go home. We don't need to talk or interact or ANYTHING. Just let me leave."
