FIVE YEARS LATER...
The sun was blazing in the sky over crystal clear waters. Tara felt the sweat dribble down her tanned skin, her dyed blonde hair frazzled from the heat. She wore her favorite red, white and blue bikini which strained to contain her. She'd gone up a few sizes despite her four day a week workout regime with Becky. Her friend had told her that exercising alone would only stall her weight gain, but Tara loved her eating and drinking too much to ever commit to a proper diet. Besides, most of the weight went to her boobs and butt, and that suited Tara just fine. She could tell from the appreciative stares she drew from most men, and several women, that she was still a world class beauty.
"It's almost a shame I'm a married woman... Almost," Tara smirked to herself as she ground her butt into her seat, eliciting pained twitches from her hubby. He was the real reason she'd started working out again. Running, cycling, weight-lifting and stretching made for excellent bonding time. No pain, no gain after all, and his presence meant the pain was never hers.
And now she was showing off her beach-bod in Tahiti.
This second honeymoon had been a long time coming. She'd needed to put it off after taking over your student loan payments from your mother. Yet another way Tara tried to get her sister to forget about you and it had worked perfectly. After five years of wedded bliss, your mother seemed to have completely forgotten you had ever existed. She no longer paused when walking by pictures you'd used to be in as if trying to remember something, or staring at Tara's ass with a confused look on her face. Nowadays whenever Tara stopped by, Dana was just as focused on recapturing their lost youth as Tara was. Tara would sometimes even slip your name into conversation when talking with her and was always delighted to see a puzzled expression cross her face. Your mother had absolutely no memory of you. You might as well have lived in Tara's ass your whole life, which, as far as Tara was concerned, had been your destiny all along.
Tara curled her toes in the sand and closed her eyes, listening to the crashing waves of the ocean and sipping on her cool tropical cocktail. If she concentrated she could feel your pitiful twitches coming from her crack. Not that they would do any good. You had fused to her crack years ago. Just a few months after the wedding in fact.
Both of you remembered it perfectly. It was the happiest day of Tara's life and the worst day of yours. Tara had been using a tanning bed as often as she could, flat-out stating she planned to permanently bake you into her flesh. You'd tried to fight it, of course, but like any resistance you put up against your aunt it was ultimately futile. Your struggles were met with only a clenching of cheeks and the broiling heat of the tanning bed. As the sweat rolled over you, you felt yourself sizzling. Every day Tara pulled her cheeks apart in front of a mirror to check on her progress. You'd been stuck in the same position for weeks now, like a cartoon character tattooed into her ass. The right side of your face stuck to her right cheek, blinding that eye, and your lips were stuck to it as well. Tara thought it was "sweet" how you were giving your "wife" a never-ending kiss. The worst part was that you were facing inwards... so, just inches from your nose was--FUCK! You didn't want to think about it! Every waking moment was spent trying to free yourself but day after day your struggles grew weaker. Your aunt had even stopped clenching her cheeks to see if you would peel off. Whenever you managed to get yourself the slightest bit free, Tara would just sigh and clench her cheeks, locking you back in the exact same position. Then, one day... you simply couldn't peel free at all. When your aunt discovered this, she'd been so happy she'd partied every day for a week nonstop.
A shadow passed over your aunt's face as someone blocked her sun. She spoke without opening her eyes, "If you're here to refill my drink you're early, and you've earned your tip. Otherwise, move the fuck on, I'm celebrating my anniversary."
"Mrs. Bigg?" a familiar voice asked.
Even trapped in your foul prison, you recognized that voice instantly. It was one you would never forget. One that caused your heart to thunder in your chest... or wherever it was now that your body was squished.
"Well, well, well," Tara drawled as she perked up in her seat. "What're the odds? Katie Smalls."
"Cassie," your ex-fiancee said calmly.
"Almost didn't recognize you," Tara said. "You put on a little weight."
Cassie, knowing for a fact she hadn't gained a pound since her college days, just sighed. "Yeah, it's definitely you. I wasn't sure at a distance."
"Couldn't help checking me out?" Tara asked, putting one arm behind her head. "Can't say I blame you. I'm sorry to disappoint though but, as you know," she flashed the diamond ring Cassie had mailed back to her, "I'm a happily married woman."
"Funny, so am I," Cassie said, showing off her own--much bigger--ring.
The smile didn't even falter on Tara's face. "Nice," she admitted. "A little flashy though. Hope your man's not compensating for something. Where is the old ball-and-chain anyway?" she asked, pulling down her sunglasses to scout the beach.
"I sent my husband back up to the room with the kids."
Each word was a knife in your heart. Husband?! Kids?!
"Got a couple of rug-rats, huh? No wonder you didn't want to risk him meeting me. It's hard to be a single mother. But don't worry honey, I won't steal that one too. I got everything I wanted a looooong time ago."
Cassie rubbed her head feeling a sudden migraine coming on. "God you're making this difficult," she murmured to herself. "Look, Mrs. Bigg. The reason I came over here is to... thank you."
Thank her?!
"Thank me?" Tara asked, just as confused as you were.
"Yeah, strange as it is to admit, I owe you everything. Fact is... you did me a favor when you took Jake. It would never have worked out between him and me. Even if he had turned out to be the nice guy I thought he was, I know now that I never really loved him. He wasn't my soulmate, he was just my first serious relationship as an adult. I'd barely grown up at all, and I was just so excited by the prospect of marriage that I jumped at the chance for it with the first nice guy I met. I never thought through what my life would be like with a one foot tall husband. I'd spend practically my entire life protecting him. And if our kids had inherited his height and durability? My heart couldn't take it, knowing what might happen to them. Honestly, I have no idea how Jake's mother did it."
"Uh-huh," Tara said, clearly bored now that she knew she wasn't getting a rise out of Cassie anymore. She closed her eyes and laid back down but the girl didn't take the hint.
"I mean, I was mad at first, but if not for you I would've never met my husband. I would never know what love truly is. And I never would've had my kids! Everything good in my life is... because of you. So, it was really the best thing for both of us that Jake chose you over me. Oh! And I'm sure Jake is happy too--Um, hi Jake," she said uncertainly at your aunt's ass. "Anyway--"
She'd already started talking about something else. You were barely an afterthought to the love of your life.
Tara rolled her eyes in annoyance. She wondered how much longer she'd have to endure this until a groan from her gut reminded her of one way to shut her up. Without giving it a second thought she grunted and--
PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTT TTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
Even the seagulls in the sky seemed to go silent in the aftermath of Tara's flatulence. Cassie's mouth dropped in shock, only for her to quickly gag and close it again. She could practically taste it and it sent her into a coughing fit.
"Sorry dear," Tara said as transparently insincere as possible. "Local cuisine doesn't agree with me. Luckily my lil hubby-poo loves breathing it in! Isn't that right?" Tara asked mashing her ass cheeks together, torturing you more. "Isn't that right?!" She paused to look back up at Cassie. "I'm sorry, honey, I interrupted. You were blathering?"
Cassie's face grew white with rage. With tremendous force of will she maintained her composure. Through gritted teeth she forced herself to say what she'd been determined to, "Thank you, Mrs. Bigg. I wish you and Jake a lifetime of happiness."
"We've already got it, honey!" Tara called after Cassie as she retreated from the beach. "We're soulmates after all!" Tara chuckled to herself then spoke directly to you. "Well Jake, you're welcome. Clearly I helped you dodge a bullet. Can you imagine being married to someone like that? I mean, I'm just sitting here, enjoying my vacation, and she comes waltzing over and then just goes on and on and on. Like we give a crap about anything she has to say! Seriously, have you ever met anyone so self-absorbed in your entire life? You obviously made the right call when you chose my ass over her. Total trade up."
You meanwhile, couldn't believe what had just happened. Ever since fusing to your aunt's crack, you'd known you'd lost any chance of reuniting with Cassie, but to hear her say so casually she'd never loved you. To talk about her husband and kids, about the life you should've had together! It wasn't fair... It just wasn't fair! What had you ever done to deserve this?!
You'd been together long enough for Tara to recognize what the wiggles coming from you meant, whether angry, sad or in pain. She couldn't help but smirk as she felt the familiar wiggle that signaled you sobbing.
"There, there squirt," Aunt Tara said cheerfully. "You'll always have me. For better and for worse. For sickness and in health. Til death do I fart."
