First Contact with Tara (part 2) One Foot Tall Fiancé chapter 14 by copier · original author: lifesaver

“Sorry, Tara, but even though he’s tough he’s still my son and I can’t just be living a loose cannon life with him! I need to look after him and not go crazy like we used to when we were in college!” Your mom said, smiling warmly at her sister. Unfortunately, Tara did not take the news quite as warmly. “I’m going to run check on the oven real quick, keep bonding while I’m gone!” Your mom concluded before dropping you somewhat roughly into Tara’s hand and walking back out of the room.

At that moment, Tara gave you a look that you would recognize for years to come. A mixture of arrogance, slight disdain, and interest that spelt nothing but dread for you.

“Okay, shrimp. If you’re as indestructible as my sister says then you gotta stop getting in the way of her living her life. And more importantly, stop getting in the way of her having fun with me! Got it!?” Tara held you close to her face, her gigantic mouth mere inches away from you blasting you with hot air as you spoke. You trembled with fear. You hadn’t had any interactions with people like her thus far in your life. But for the first time you felt as powerless as your body made you out to be. And with that feeling came the spark of your combative relationship with your Aunt Tara.
