So a few days later you pulled up in front of the college you and your mom had had that talk, and you were excited to start.
“ OK the campus is busy so stay with me,” your mom says as you climb up to the window. Looked out to see many people walking around, and the dangerous footwear that went along with it.
As if to emphasize your mom‘s point you watch one small tiny trying to climb the stairs. He’s almost there when the 4-inch heeled soul of a high-heeled boot steps on him. The black-haired ponytailed Asian girl haveing no idea she stepped on him, and you gasp. As you see a mean-looking blonde slingshot a tiny girl into the mouth of another girl. Who is now chewing him like gum, and suddenly you want to fall backwards? Quickly you grab onto the lock of the door catching yourself, as you can hear your mom‘s voice far away in the background.
“ Jake Jake are you OK?”
Then crying you let go falling into a warm hand.
“ it’s all too much for me,” Jake says looking up at his mom.
“ Hey it’s OK I’m here you don’t have to go in alone,” Jake’s mom says with a smile.
“ Are you sure I should do this on my own”?
“ if that’s what you want honey but just remember you never have to do anything alone in your life you’ll always have family or friends to back you up” your mom smiles reassuringly.
“ Thanks, mom,” Jake says with a genuine smile.
