Your vision was flooded with light as your dark drawer of a world was suddenly opened to the rest of the room. Unable to blink or move your eyes at all, you could only put up with the blinding light as someone lifted up the compression shorts you were on. You began to see a blurry shape as someones soft fingers stroked over you, before hearing a voice you knew and loved. It was Cassie.
"Jake?" She asked in a confused done, but not her usual panic she usually has when she finds you stuck somewhere, almost, unsure.
"Is that you?" She asked, seemingly more to herself. Your vision finally came back into focus and you could see her looking you over with an uncertain look on her face, her fingers stroking over you, feeling no difference between your body and the material you were burnt onto.
Cassie had heard her sister mention over breakfast about a funny logo she hadn' spotted before, a logo of a scared looking man on thhe ass of her compression shorts. Cassie of course had been wondering where you were and quickly asked Maddie where these shorts were now. After being told they were tucked away wiith the rest of her underwear, she had rushed upstairs to look, confident the logo was you. Now however, upon seeing it, she wasn't so sure. For starters, the logo was a lot smaller than one foot all. maybe 6 inches. Neither of you knew that the compression shorts had expanded from the water in the wash and when you got stuck to it, once they dried, shrinking back to normal size, they had crushed you alongside it. Thanks to Kimberly, you were now fused in at that size until you could get free.
Secondly, due to having been reforming from your time as a cushion cover, not all of your features were visible. You looked like you had no nose, your hair was sticking out and your eyes and mouth were wider than normal, like a cartoon. Still slightly smeared, you did look slightly cartoonish. All this had added up to Cassie's confidence in you being more than a simple logo depleting like a leaky balloon. She tried to look close, not seeing even an eye twitch or any sign of movement, her fingers just felt the stretchy fabric. This certainly felt like it was just a logo, likely printed on in some factory somewhere. Sure there was a resemblence to her beloved Jake, but, could this really be him?
