It's been 12 hours... you think. It's kinda hard to keep track of time. You see another shadow loom over you, and you expect the worst. Instead of being sat on you hear a voice. "Mom, did you get a new cushion? This one has an odd shape.." Cassie says
You move around a bit, hoping to catch her attention. She notices your movements, and then analyzes the cushion carefully. She notices the weird human like bump coming out. She puts 2 and 2 together, and feels the cushion, hoping her suspicions aren't true.
"Jake? Is that you?!" Cassie says. She finds fabric scissors nearby, and realizes what happened while she was gone. She cuts you out and gives you a hug. "Jake! You didn't leave! How did you get there? Was it.. my mom..?"
You stay in her embrace, thinking VERY CAREFULLY about what to do next. You don't want to ruin your fiance's relationship with her mother, but you don't think you can bare more of that abuse from her mother either.
