A Little Heart to Foot Conversation

Phil started to walk away, but then he heard the broken down sobs of the teacher. He looked back and up to her. Ms. Prittey was hugging her knees with her stocking feet resting on the edge of her desk. He sighed shaking his head. for some reason he just couldn't walk away and leave her like that.
"Ms. Prittey?" Phil called from his spot on the floor below her towering chair. The teacher didnt even look at him.
"I told you to go. Just go. Leave me alone." She said as fresh tears streamed down her face.
Phil turned again to go. but then he caught sight of something leaning against the desk. It was the long pointer stick Ms. Prittey used to point at things on the blackboard. It was leaning at such an angle that he thought he could climb it to the top of her desk if he was careful. So he began to climb. About half way up he almost slipped. but with great effort he managed to make it. He was tired out, but he walked over in front of Ms. Prittey's feet and called to her again. But she did not respond. He reached out and tapped the sole of her left foot. She felt it and opened her eyes. Ms. Prittey parted her knees and looked down between her legs to see tiny Phil peering at her from behind her foot that dwarfed him completely. It looked so cute. She struggled to hold back a smile.
"Is this guy for real?" Ms. Prittey thought to herself. "Phil what do you want now?" She asked with a tone of annoyance, that made Phil more than a little nervous.
He fidgeted as he looked up towards her face. The close proximity to her giant feet was more than a little intimidating, and he wished she would put them down so he could talk to her more directly. But, nope. Those gaintess feet stayed right there on the edge of the desk, looming just over his head and bobbing slightly.
"I-I just wanted to check if you're gonna be ok." he stammered.
Ms. Prittey wiped tears off her cheeks and sniffed. "Oh Phil. I should be the one apologizing to you."
Phil looked up at her and thought "Uuh, yeah" but instead he said "I just didn't want to hurt your feelings, and... I-Im' sorry."
"Ms. Prittey?" Phil called from his spot on the floor below her towering chair. The teacher didnt even look at him.
