Phil wakes up in the hospital

It was a long sleep and Phil's eyes opens slowly. The light hits his eyes too strongly and he has to close them again. He hears voices around him. "He is awake!" He is awake!" Phil keeps his eyes closed for a few seconds and then decides to open them again. He recongizes his mother and a classmate on each side of him. Looking around he seems to be in a hospital and he is located in a bad with lots of tubes connected to his body.
"I'm so glad that you are awake!" His mother yells out of joy.
"We have been so worried about you!" The classmate added. Phil put up a smile which indicated him being grateful. The door was slammed open and there was Sally. Phil's body reacted on it's own and started to tremble out of fear. It almost looked like he tryed to crawl away on his back. Phil's mother who hadn't lifted her eyes from her son for a sec thought it was strange behaviour and turned to look what caused it.
"Oh, it's Sally. Come here, Phil has awakened!" The mother called joyfully. It seems they had created a relationship while Phil was unconscious. His mother turned hastly back to Phil to ask a question.
"Who did this? Who did this to my son? Do you know who it was?" Her voice was in despair. Phil gulped and watch Sally to stand in front of him who didn't move an inch. Sally stood like frozen. Phil raised his trembling hand slowly up and pointed with his finger. His mother gaped when she realized who he it had been. She quickly took a step away from Sally who had come to stand herself next to her. The mother took Phils hand and lowered her face and stopped moving. Phil tryed to understand her behaviour. What was going on? Was she ashamed of him?
A doctor came in. "Oh, so our hero is awake?" Sally nodded and continued silently to watch as the doctor went through all the procedures of a when a patient wakes up from a coma. Phil watched at his mother once in a while. She was still frozen.
"Oh, Phil, I don't know if you noticed already." The doctor began. "We had to do an operation on you."
