"Phil, I am moving your desk to sit with the rest of the class. That way they won't be tempted to look at you while I'm teaching."

With that she grabbed Phil and his desk, cupping him in her palm. Phil considered himself lucky that he had gotten used to being suddenly handled like this. A few years ago, before he had really gotten used to it, it would have given him a nervous breakdown to have been picked up like he just was.

She placed him in the first row where there was an empty space for him due to a student leaving the class a few weeks ago. Not a lot of space was needed. Ms. Prittey then somewhat gently placed in on the ground where a much larger desk used to be.

Phil looked around. Behind him and to his left and right lay walls of towering legs. He looked up and saw dozens of smiling face staring back at him.

"Now let's start class over, given that no one was listening before," Ms. Prittey stated, seeming relieved at solving the problem. "So today we are..."
