The Business Woman My name is Phil Tiny chapter 7 by copier · original author: swp1

Phil walked over to the business woman. She looked older and more professional, making her a safer bet.

He went over the back of her heels. As he got closer, he could hear her talking on the phone. At the end of it, the soul of her foot was sticking out from the edge of the shoe. He reached up and poked her soul, causing it to jump back reflexively and then return return back to Phil, coming within inches of knocking him over. But it did nothing else. Phil could hear a slight stuttering in the phone conversation, but otherwise she went back to what she was doing as if nothing happened. Disappointed at the failure, he poked again. This time it jumped twice as much, and a hand descended to scratch the bottom of her foot. Phil took this opportunity and jumped onto her pinky. Phil was instantly hoisted up and brought up to the woman. Her hand was upside down when she was scratching her foot and when Phil jumped on it, and as it returned it flipped back over, leaving Phil hugging onto the finger upside down for dear life.

The woman looked perplexed trying to figure out how a tiny person had managed to attach himself to her finger. She was desperately trying to conceal this though as she carried out in to maintain a voice of professionalism during conversation. With her other four fingers, she slid Phil's petrified body off of her pinky, making him fall onto her lap. He got back up and stood facing her, and she rested the hand he was just clinging to next to him. Her other hand was holding her phone to her ear. Phil didn't dare say a word, even though he wanted to explain his situation, as something about the atmosphere that he couldn't quite put his hands on made it clear that one just does not think about talking while this woman was on the phone.

"I'm sorry. I lost my train of thought. Oh yes, it seems that the best solution is to..." she continued.

This was the first time Phil got an actual glimpse of this woman. She was wearing a gray business shirt and skirt, which covered what looked like a C-Cup. She had neatly cut black hair and green eyes. Her face had on nice make-up and lipstick and appeared to be around 34 or 35.

Suddenly, Phil saw movement out the corner of her eyes. It was Valeria! She had gotten up and started to walk over to them. Feeling like he'd been seen standing there in the open, he dashed towards her hand and tried to borrow himself underneath it. Seeming to understand what he was trying to do, she lifted her hand on top of him, protecting him from sight moments before Valerie arrived.

"Excuse me, Miss," Valerie interrupted. "But have you seen my doll? I seemed to have lost it."

At first, the lady ignored Valerie, but then after Valerie insisted a few times, she grudgingly relented.

"Please hold on a moment, Mr. Viker," she politely requested into the phone. "Someone is on the bus is asking me a question."

Pulling the phone away from her ear, she beamed at Valerie, "What do you want little girl? No I have not seen any doll floating around. Would you please go away? This call will affect whether I get them as a client and is far more important than some little toy of yours."

"Anyways, where was I?" She started again, pulling her phone back to her ear and looking away from Valerie. "Oh yes, I think that is a great idea. If you go with, you would be able to..."

Valerie walked away disappointed. She could have sworn that Phil was under her hand but was too afraid of the woman to pressure her anymore. It was a shame, for she needed him to be able to live with the girls she wanted to in San Fransisco. It was part of the deal.

Phil laid under the hand of this mysterious woman for several minutes as she finished her conversation. He had no idea what would happen or whether she would help him get back home, but he was glad he was free from Valerie. Finally, the woman hung up and moved her hand to talk to Phil.

"Hello down there. I'm not sure where you came from, and I am presuming you want something, but right now I don't have time to deal with you. I have a lot of work I need to get done before I get to the office. I'm going to put you into my purse for now until I have time to deal with you later."

Before Phil could respond, he was hoisted into the air and dropped into her purse. He sat in darkness as he heard her make another phone call or two and slowly drifted back to sleep. After a while, he was awoken by the noise an unzipping zipper and was blinded as light flooded engulfed him. Before he knew it, a hand reached down and grabbed him. As his eyes started to get adjusted to the light, he saw who had grabbed him. It was...
