Phil finds himself flying through the air. Ms. Prittey’s coughing launched him out at record high speeds. Phil sees himself escape from his captor, lucky not to have become her dinner, but then turns around and notices himself flying straight into the leg of a couch across the room. He closes his eyes and braces for the impact unable to avoid it.
WHAAAMM!
Phil crashes against the leg. Luckily it was somewhat padded. Otherwise he wouldn’t have survived. He bounces off of it and lands unto the rug below with a loud thump.
“Phil, where did you go?” shouts Ms. Prittey, noticing that Phil was no longer in her mouth but not sure exactly where he went.
The couch is about an inch above the ground (a couple feet from Phil’s perspective), leaving just enough space for him to sneak under but too low for Ms. Prittey to be able to see him very easily. Phil is tempted to sneak under and hide. He might be able to get away later when she is not looking. However, if he is caught hiding, Ms. Prittey would probably punish him relentlessly.
Does he risk it and try to hide from his captoress or does he answer Ms. Prittey’s call, forever sealing his fate as the teacher’s pet?
