Returned to Becky My name is Phil Tiny chapter 27 by copier · original author: vinnyloo

After the game was over, Mandy was walking toward her mom's car, off to herself. Suddenly she heard footsteps running up behind her. “Hey Mandy I saw the game, you did great!” Becky said, out of breath after running to catch up.

“Thanks, I had a good luck charm,” Mandy replied.

“Hey, do you have Phil with you?” Becky asked, out of breath after running to catch up with Mandy.

“Um... yeah... he's the good luck charm,” Mandy replied.

“I need him back,” Becky continued, still gasping for air. “Mom said that she wants him to stay at home from now on, so I don't need to be letting people borrow him anymore. We're even going to start homeschooling again – me and Phil both. So where is he?”

Mandy pointed down to her right cleat and smiled in response.

Becky's jaw flew open and she laughed. “Whoa! Is he still alive?”

“I... 'think' so,” she said slowly, ending with a smile.

“You 'think'?” Becky cautiously smiled back. “I think we'd better see for sure,” she finished. This little 8-year-old was so cute, but Becky realized that her little brother's dead body may be in this girl's soccer cleats. Something about that made Becky have to admire her; so much cruelty in such a cute little package.

Mandy removed her right cleat, which for a moment left Becky confused when she didn't see her little brother inside of it. Mandy, however, went on to remove her green sock, revealing the tiny body's true whereabouts. Becky busted out in laughter and had to cover her mouth – she saw Phil's tiny body twisted and flattened into the ball of the little girl's foot. Mandy made a goofy grin and continued to forcefully squeeze his little flattened head between her toes.

Becky slowly reached in and pulled him free of the tormenting toes. “He looks dead,” she stated. Holding him in her palm, both girls peered down at him for a while. He looked mashed – his body was flattened and twisted. It looked very bad, and he looked like he could easily be dead.

“Wait,” Becky said. “It's hard to see... but he's breathing, just barely,” she finished

“Really? I don't see it...” Mandy replied, her big eyes moving closer.

“I can tell – he's my brother, I've watched him breathe since he was born,” Becky said.

“So he's alive?” Mandy asked.

“Yeah. And if he's alive, he'll heal back to normal,” Becky smiled. She opened her purse, dropped the tiny little beaten boy inside, then zipped it back up.

Mandy looked from the purse to Becky, and thought for a moment. “So... when he goes back to normal, are you, like, gonna squash him some more?” Mandy asked with a smile.

Becky smirked, and began to stand up. “Mom and I have been coming up with some some special ways of convincing Phil to do well in his homeschooling, so that he won't slack off . Let's just say that he's going to be under a lot of pressure from now on, whatever he does,” Becky finished with a wink, and began to walk away.

“But – I think Mom would let you borrow him every once in a while, if I talk to her. You need him as a good luck charm for soccer, right?”

“That'd be great!” Mandy smiled.

“Okay then, I'll ask. See ya!” Becky said.

“Bye bye!” Mandy replied. She watched as Becky, carrying the purse with tiny Phil inside, walked to the car where her mother was waiting for her. As she was putting her sock and shoe back on, she saw them drive away.
