As Ms. Prittey washed her hair, Phil struggled to free himself from his loofa restraints. He was very nervous about spending the day with his teacher, and Phil hoped he could avoid that. He started wriggling around, and slowly the tiny student managed to free himself from the loofa. He slid out onto the countertop, and looked around to see what to do next.
Phil carefully edged to the corner of the counter, and looked to see if Ms. Prittey had noticed. She was still engrossed in her shower, oblivious to Phil's escape. The tiny boy carefully crawled to the edge and started to slowly climb down. He made it a few inches when he lost his grip and fell. Phil plunged to the floor, but his low center of gravity and the very thick, plush bath mat prevented him from getting injured. Phil stood up, amazed at his luck, when he heard Ms. Prittey turn off the water. He knew he had only seconds before she noticed his escape, so he took off in the direction of the door and ran.
There was no looking back, no second-guessing; Phil had only the thought of escape on his mind. He flinched when he heard Ms. Prittey scream "hey, where'd you go?" He didn't stop running though, more afraid now than he was before. Phil could hear Ms. Prittey's feet pounding on the floor as she came after him, still naked and dripping wet. He didn't dare think that this wouldn't work, only hoping that it would.
After running for a few minutes...........
