The end-of-class bell finally rang, and Phil sighed with relief. His relief was short-lived, however, as Emily brought back into view before all her fellow cheerleaders. Their giggles of glee at his now-sticky clothes made blush redder than their uniforms!
"Hmm!" said Kirsten, the head cheerleader: "Mrs. Pritty must have gotten pre-occupied with something. So, I guess we'll have to take you to your next class, for her. Where is that, by the way?"
Phil consulted his custom-made palm pilot.
"Actually, I have first lunch next."
"What a coincidence!" exclaimed Kirsten: "So, do we! And, guess what? Today is Baked Macaroni-and-Cheese Day."
Phil frowned as the other girls giggled, at Kirsten's smiling wink.
"Hmm!" said Kirsten, the head cheerleader: "Mrs. Pritty must have gotten pre-occupied with something. So, I guess we'll have to take you to your next class, for her. Where is that, by the way?"
