In her preoccupation with Phil, she had lost her focus on the road. She went right through the intersection, despite it being a red light. She was heading right into oncoming traffic. Her foot quickly released the pressure from both Phil and accelerator as she slammed on the brakes. It wasn't quick enough though, and she heads right into the car in front of her.
Phil, who did not know what was going on above, felt relieved to be alive and no longer squashed. This lasted only a split second though as he was now knocked about due to the accident. What happened?
