He decides to stay there. My name is Phil Tiny chapter 18 by copier · original author: swp1

Almost falling into boiling-hot red liquid was enough to convince Phil to stay put. He didn’t like it in here, but he feared for his life. He waited as Sheila finished cooking, an ordeal that took about a half-hour. Phil was too far in to see what she was doing.

Eventually she did finish. She then walked over to her living room and plopped down on her couch. She took Phil out, much to his relief and placed on the coffee table in front of her. He began to look around when suddenly he was engulfed by a wonderful scent. About a foot away from him (from Sheila’s perspective) was a plate of spaghetti. It was just finished and still warm. Also on the plate he could see a piece of garlic toast, just out of the oven and smelling amazing. His stomach instantly growled. He remembered that he hadn’t eaten since breakfast and that he was starving. His mouth salivated almost to the point of drooling. He was too enchanted by the food to look at her, but Sheila was giggling a little above him.

He started to run over to the food, but before he got there Sheila slammed her feet in front of him. Not noticing he promptly ran face first into the sole of her foot.

“I have a little job for you before you eat. Think of it as like your food payment,” she said.

Disappointed he looked up at her. She was lying on the couch with feet up against the coffee table that he was standing on. She pointed at a flask of red toenail paint that was right next to him. He had been too focused on the food to notice it before.

“I need my toenails painted, and I know that at your size you can do a very exact job.”

“But I am hungry and tired. Rita put me through a lot.”

“Well you shouldn’t have been trying to climb out of my top during lunch,” she responded unsympathetically.

Phil remembered that it was because he had climbed out that Rita noticed him and insisted on spending the day with him. This didn’t seem like his fault though. He wasn’t in a good mood either. He didn’t feel very well. He was now hungry and was in pain from being tortured all day from all sorts of people, including this crazy lady. He just wanted to go home. It was a mistake to try to go to this school, he’ll tell his mother. He really didn’t want to obey another obscene command: this last one may be his last straw. He may not have another option though. He needs to eat, and he doesn’t know what she’ll put him through if he refuses. She has shown herself to be quite a mean person. Does he bite his tongue and obey or finally take a stand?
