As sleep began to overtake him, Phil felt a ripple on Heather's bed. He looked over at the giant woman but she lay motionless. He then looked up and saw that a cat was now laying on the bed. Phil assumed that it belonged to Heather, but was worried that it might be hostile. Phil lay perfectly still, hoping the cat wouldn't notice him. Suddenly, Phil heard Heather sneeze very loudly. The woman then jerked her arm, causing Phil to fly into the portion of the blanket covering her thigh. As Phil struggled to stand up on her bed, he saw that the cat had now noticed him and was slowly moving forward.
Phil watched the cat come towards him, mouth open and teeth bared. The tiny boy inched away and made his way to Heather's face. He poked and pushed at the woman and screamed "Heather, help me, your cat is trying to eat me." The woman just moaned in her sleep and exhaled, causing Phil to go flying towards the cat. Phil turned around and saw that the cat was towering above him and he ran, hoping to get away. However, the string Heather attached to him did not allow him to get far and the cat pounced on him. Within seconds Phil was inside the cat's mouth, desperately pulling on the string to avoid getting swallowed whole.
The struggle turned into an epic one, with Phil trying to climb out of the cat's mouth while the cat kept trying to swallow Phil. The battle raged on throughout the night, with Phil struggling mightily against the cat's throat muscles trying to pull him in. When it was finally morning..........
