Phil and Janice had just finished another day of class. The two were laughing as they had told everyone about the date they had last night. Some of the students were grossed out, but still they thought it was funny.
As Phil and Janice were leaving, they noticed that down the hall the science class was having it's annual Science Fair. "Hmmm.... Want to see what's up?" Phil asked from his perch on Janice's shoulder.
Janice nodded tentatively. She really didn't care for science, but still was curious about what kind of presentations were on display.
The couple walked down the hall and saw a variety of boring projects. There was a baking soda volcano, a test of static electricity in balloons, a mouse in a maze, and more of the usual things. Finally at the end of the hall was a science display that was covered in a blue sheet. Working on the display was Morgan, the school's biggest nerd. She had large glasses, big black shoes with rainbow socks that went up to her knees, and braces in her teeth.
"Hey, what do you got there?" Janice asked with some interest. The hidden display was in the shape of the gun, so she could only begin to wonder what was under the blue sheets.
Morgan looked up, sweat on her forehead. She must have been working hard to fix a malfunction. "Oh, this little thing... It's just my size adjuster," she said quickly and then went back to work. "It can switch your size in a snap." Morgan looked up again and frowned. "And I need to fix it but I don't have my screwdriver..."
Morgan walked away and then turned back. "Please make sure no one steals it!"
After Morgan was long gone, Janice lifted the blue sheets and grabbed the silvery gun that was underneath. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" Phil asked.
Janice smiled and set her little friend down. "Ah, don't worry. She just said not to let anyone take it away," the Texan girl said and then started to fiddle with the buttons on the gun. "Besides, wouldn't you like to be BIG!?"
Phil smiled and then extended his arms. "HIT ME BABY!"
