Phil walked past his mother's huge, somewhat smelly foot and tried to get her attention. "Ma, you said I could have a day off today!" he complained hoping that she would understand his situation.
Phil's mom smiled and leaned down to pick up her son. "Sorry, little guy. I forget how our toes smell 100x worse compared to your size." She then walked with him outside the house, followed closely by Jaz and Becky. She then set him down on top of her feet. The fresh air outside helped to mask the wickedly powerful aroma of shoes and toes. Phil sighed deeply and hopped off his mother's foot.
"Thanks, Mom!" he said happily and then began to walk around the yard. He loved to explore the green grass and look for bugs and other tiny things. He sat back on a rock to relax. He noticed that Becky was standing in the yard and wriggling her toes in the tall grass. Meanwhile, Jaz was busy making dirt clumps in a mud puddle.
