"Your first task today," Ms. Li said, "is to paint my toenails." Phil looked at her wriggling toes with disgust. "Why do I have to do that? What can I possibly learn?" Ms Li said nothing, but merely moved closer to Phil. Without warning, she stomped on Phil hard, crushing him under her foot. She twisted her foot into the floor, smashing Phil completely. Ms. Li then removed her foot and placed it next to Phil. "Nail polish is a few feet to your left," was all she said.
Phil managed to get up off the floor and slowly moved to the bottle of nail polish. It was closed, so he looked back up at Ms. Li and said "I'm too small to get it open." Ms Li sighed, and lifted her foot again. Phil panicked and said "wait, wait! I can get it open, just give me a minute." Ms Li put her foot back down on the floor, and Phil did his absolute best to open the bottle. With enough effort, he managed to unscrew the cap, and pulled the brush out. Though it did not weigh much, the brush was actually taller than him, so it was incredibly difficult to walk far with it. However, Ms. Li was not going to help Phil at all, so he had to walk the distance.
When he finally arrived at her feet, he began the laborious task of painting her toe nails. The stench was incredible, but he did not want to be crushed again. Slowly he managed to place the polish on Ms. Li's big toe, making sure to brush evenly (he was afraid of what would happen if he did a bad job). After a little while, Ms. Li looked down and said "Phil, you have already used up too much polish, go back and get more." Phil walked over to the bottle, brush held above his head, and attempted to dip the brush back in. However, he was unable to reach, so he tried angling the brush and forcing it in.
With all of his struggles, Phil forgot to be careful about the bottle. As he was trying to dip the brush back in, he saw the bottle start to tip over. He frantically tried to hold it up, but the momentum moved it too fast, and he was unable to stop it. The bottle tipped over and nail polish oozed out. Phil froze in fear.
Ms. Li looked down and said "Philip! You have no respect for my property! This calls for some punishment." Phil took off, running as fast as he could, though he knew in the back of his mind it was hopeless. Just as he suspected, it was only seconds before Ms. Li's now familiar foot was back on top of him, crushing him into the ground.
"Philip," Ms. Li said, "this is unacceptable. You will have to spend the next day with me. Your place of punishment will be........
