Ms. Li finally removed her heel from Phil and picked him up with her right hand. She let him collect himself and recover as she calls to one of the girls.
"Robyn! Come here for a moment"
Phil looks up and sees all the girls are pairing off. The exception, of course, being Robyn. A tall, curvaceous redhead who was walking toward him and Ms. Li. The teacher seems to have picked the girl with the widest set of hips in the class. Not that anyone would complain about her hourglass figure though.
"Robyn," Ms. Li begins, "I want you to partner up with Phil during our hip drop practice." The teacher drops Phil into Robyn's awaiting palm. She then pulled a metal folding chair from the side of the room. "Phil obviously will never be able to do a hip drop on you without a little help," she told Robyn, "go ahead and put him on the chair when it's time."
Phil couldn't say for sure, but he would swear there was a knowing look from Ms. Li to Robyn when the teacher said that.
She then got the attention of the whole class.
"Ok girls.....and Phil. You all saw the perfect hip drop Melissa demonstrated for us in her match against Phil. I want you to practice hip drops on your partner. I also want you to work on escapes and reversals. Take turns on top and on bottom. One point for each executed hip drop and one point for each escape or reversal."
Robyn looks down at Phil and smiles. "Ok Phil, since you've already been through this once, I'll let you start on top." She then places him in the middle off the cold metal chair.
Phil is normally very uncomfortable standing in the middle of a chair by himself, but he has hopes that he can trust Robyn.....
