Monique got an idea.
"Lets play hide and seek! You hide and I will count to 50. Now dont try and run away, that door is closed." she said referring to her room's door.
Monique started counting.
"50, 49, 48....."
Phil started sprinting. He was running to the door. He didnt care if it was closed, it was his only exit.
"38,37,36...."
Phil reached the door finally and noticed that the gap underneath the door was big enough. "She must not deal with bugs." Phil concluded.
"26,25,24......"
Phil crawled under. He was free! Or thats what he thought. Now in front of him was the hallway, and immediately to his right weret he stairs. Phil chose the stairs. He climbed up the railing and began sliding down it.
"12,11, .......10....." Phil heard the numbers fade away as he got farther away as he headed downstairs.
However, Phil heard a new sound. It was humming. Phil looked around. He saw the kitchen. Then he saw a very lovely looking woman. "It must be Monique's mom" Phil thought. She was humming a song to herself as she was cooking.
Phil wanted to ask for help, but he made many mistskes about asking for help and regretted his descisions. He didnt want to risk it.
Phil looked around and saw the front door. It was past the kitchen.
Phil looked at the mom and once she turned away, he headed toward the next piece of furniture; the counter where the mom was cooking.
