Garrett 'Call me by last name or die' Hawke groaned as he rolled onto his back; last night he (with Avaline's help) had gotten a degree past Meredith allowing 'upstanding citizens' ownership/responsibility of 'non threatening' mages (an idea taken by watering down the Qunari Avarath idea) and as the Champion he fell neatly into the first spot, with his sister Bethany falling into the second, allowing her to finally leave the Circle and live in the Amell family home as mother had dreamed.
To celebrate Bethany's 'freedom' they all went drinking, an idea that took some convincing for certain people; Anders for one was initially disgusted by the idea of Hawke ''owning'' a mage though if his memory hadn't completely melted away he'd mellowed and even left with Bethany, also Fenris to the amusement of the three rogues (Hawke, Varric and Isabella) was conflicted by his hatred of slavery against his hatred of mages so in the end just drank with them all.
Waking up properly and realising he'd slept on a table Hawke opened his eye's, which widened when he saw......
