Realizing that Elena isn't worth the trouble, Scarlet lets her go. As Elena keeps on walking down the stairs she makes it to the research section of Shinra. No doubt Hojo's department. Getting an idea "I'm sure there might be a way to restore myself here. But first things first, Aerith must be saved." Cloud loudly says "Elena take me to where Aerith is being held. Elena silently moves through the halls of Shinra HQ and eventually finds herself in front of the door of the detainment section. Knowing Elena's a Turk, Cloud commands "Open the door." Elena without fail from one of her pockets draws out an ID card. She swipes it on the console and soon enough after some random sounds the door opens. Once it opens the first thing Cloud sees is Aerith sitting on the bed of the cell looking depressed and worried.
"Aerith!"
Cloud yells standing on Elena's palm. Aerith turns and sees Cloud's small naked form with one hand covering his privates. Aerith looking away as she blushes asks "C-Cloud!? What are you doing here? And why are you-" "It's a long story. One I don't want to get into the details of, but I'm here to save you." Looking at her tiny savior Aerith's eyes look like they're on the verge of tears. "Cloud I really appreciate this." says Aerith. Looking at Elena Aerith asks "But how did you get her to help you?" Cloud says "I'm using Manipulate materia, she's under my control." Looking up at Elena Cloud grips the materia piece and says "Take me to the research development department!" Not understanding his reasoning Aerith asks "Why do you want to go there?" "Remember what Elena said before? Me shrinking had something to do with Hojo's experiments. Elena knows about how this happened in the first place and if we go to the research section of the building-" Catching on Aerith says "You can get your normal size back." Nodding Cloud says "Right, so let's move!" Looking at his giant puppet Cloud says "If any guards see you with Aerith and question you, tell them you're taking her to Tsung." That said and done, all three of them headed for the research department of Shinra HQ.
Once there Cloud asks "Elena, how is there a cure for the shrinking problem?" Elena blankly says "Yes." "What is the cure?" Cloud follows up. Elena replies by saying "Being placed inside the pod while another person presses buttons on the control console will lead restore any victims of the shrinking problem. "Aerith catch! Being quick Aerith opens her palm and feels a small object land. Looking down she sees a yellow shard. She asks "Is this the Manipulate materia?" Cloud says "Yeah, I want you to order Elena to place me inside the pod and then to control console to restore my size." Nodding Aerith gets the point and without worry does as she's told.
Cloud feels the pod rather spacious after it closes, but soon enough he knows that he'll be free from this massive nightmare. Back outside Elena is blankly pressing buttons on the console obeying Aerith's orders. Within moments gas fills the pod making Cloud cough. Suddenly the pod opens and he's greeted by something he very much desired, the world at his normal size again. Aerith smiles warmly to see that Cloud is back to normal. Still covering himself Cloud says as he nears Aerith and the still mind controlled Elena "We've done good, but we're not out of the woods yet. We need to get out of here." Aerith trying not to look down even though Cloud covers his genitals says "And you need some clothes. I doubt you can sneak out of here like that."
Realizing Aerith has a point, Cloud says "You're right. Okay I have a plan. We'll use Elena to bring us a grunt guard and I'll knock him out, then-" "Takes too much time" cuts in Aerith. Aerith silently moves towards the door that leads to the stairs. She sticks her head and says loudly "Yohoo!" She quickly jumps to the side and crabs a metal pipe lying on the floor. Soon enough footsteps of a lone blue colored guard are heard. The moment he steps through and sees the naked Cloud in front of him he says trying to get his gun ready "Hey what are you do-" His words are stopped as Aerith has striked him on the back of the neck. A part of his body that remains exposed despite the head gear. After seeing Aerith's actions Cloud says "...That works."
Getting changed and taking the guard's gun Cloud has also taken back the Manipulate Materia shard from Aerith. He says to Aerith "Here's the plan, we'll keep on pretending to take you back to Tsung. We'll use Elena as the 'commanding officer' to tell off the other flunkies just in case. Got it?" Aerith smiles and nods. Cloud turns to Elena and gives her her orders. Without wasting time Elena leads the supposed captured Ancient and soldier. They descend on the panoramic elevator. As soon as they hit the lobby Elena continues to lead them outside of the Shinra building. Everything is going according to plan until...
"Stop what are you doing!?"
Cloud and Aerith turn to see another blue Shinra guard.Elena turns and replies "I am moving the Ancient to a new position. Tsung's orders. If you have a problem with that, I could connect you to him." Feeling intimidated the solder says "Nevermind mam, do as you're told." and quickly heads back inside the building. Walking a little distance further from the Shinra building Cloud finally decides enough distance has been made. Taking off the metal helmet Cloud turns to Elena and says "Now head back to Shinra HQ and if anyone asks you anything tell them you accomplished your mission at Tsung's request." Giggling a bit Aerith says "He'll be so mad when he hears she let me go." Elena blankly turns and heads back on route towards Shinra HQ. Cloud and Aerith however disappear into the darkness of Midgar's slums.
Finding himself back in Tifa's Seventh Heaven and wearing a new set of the same clothes he usually wears, Cloud takes a seat and makes himself comfortable. Tifa approaches him with a drink and asks "Haven't seen you lately?" Cloud takes the drink and says after taking a sip "Been kind of busy. Right now I'm a little tired." Getting the point Tifa backs down and lets Cloud catch a break.
"You really saved me back there, you know?"
Putting his glass down he sees Aerith at the entrance of the bar. Aerith approaches and takes a seat. Cloud asks "Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Aerith shakes her head and says "No. They need me after all." "Hmm..." replies Cloud. Aerith takes a moment and asks "Cloud?" Putting his drink down Cloud asks "Yeah?" Aerith shows a grateful smile as she says "Thank you." Giving a smile of his own Cloud says "No problem."
